### Chapter 403: The Finale
The unfolding events left Yuliya a bit surprised.
But hey, it was a good show and completely reasonable!
How long had Kaise been bullied by these people, keeping her head down and enduring?
Yesterday, after brushing past the shadow of d*ath and hitting rock bottom, she had risen anew from the ashes.
Clearly, she had gained some insights.
She was done being weak; the simmering resentment she had buried found its moment to explode.
Wonderful!
Hee hee hee…
Yuliya waved her hand, but alas, no popcorn popped out, so she settled for munching on a fruit instead.
One hand cradled Little Li while the other nibbled on the fruit, enjoying the spectacle.
“Little Li, want a bite?”
“Woof!”
“Wow! How did you gobble that all up in one bite? Bad dog!”
While play-fighting with Little Li and watching the show, Yuliya suddenly sensed something and frowned.
Somebody was coming, clearly making a beeline for their spot.
“Kaise, someone’s getting closer, expected arrival in about ten minutes.”
“Ah! Got it! I’ll hurry!”
She suddenly grew somewhat impatient and exclaimed, “Stop! This is boring!”
Upon hearing this, Hani and the others immediately halted and stared at Kaise.
“You guys are murders, a serious crime. You’ll lose your identities instantly and rot in the labor camp forever. You’ll also be demoted to the lower caste. But frankly, that doesn’t mean anything to me.”
“Now, I need you to help me with one more thing. Once it’s done, I’ll act like I never saw anything, and you can continue throwing your people around.”
Hani’s face lit up at this: “Of course… just tell us what you need, and we’ll get it done!”
“At noon, prepare ten thousand Bambi and drop it right here.”
“Ten thousand Bambi?! This…?” Hani looked a bit troubled.
“What’s wrong? Can’t do it?”
“N-no, we can do it, we can!”
Ten thousand Bambi is equivalent to ten gold coins.
Kaise needed to prepare for her own journey.
This amount was certainly difficult for Hani to just whip out on the spot, but she could go home and figure something out.
“Then get lost!” Kaise commanded.
“Yes!”
The others promptly turned around and bolted.
Yuliya shook her head slightly.
This handling was still too immature.
But it couldn’t be helped; after all, Kaise had been nothing but a good little kitty until now, with no real experience to draw upon.
No worries, Yuliya had her back.
With a snap of her fingers, the five fleeing individuals instantly collapsed.
Just as Kaise picked up her bag, she gasped, “Lady Riya?”
Yuliya suddenly appeared beside her, whispering, “You’re not getting that money. The fact that someone is approaching means their movements are being watched, indicating someone is keeping an eye out—likely the Kailei Family.”
“Um… sorry,” Kaise replied.
“No problem, you didn’t have much of a plan either. Just think things through next time.”
Just as she finished, Yuliya paused.
Oops, why did I say “next time”?
Seems this kid must plan for another round.
“And what about those few you’re just going to let go? Are you okay with that? Do you want to do something more to them?”
“I…”
“Do you feel powerless, like you can’t do anything?”
“…”
“Say whatever you want to do. I’m still here.”
“I… I want! I want to chop off their hands!”
“Great.”
With a wave of her hand, the hands of a few individuals were swiftly severed.
They woke up screaming a few times, but the volume wasn’t loud, then promptly fainted again.
“Are you satisfied now?”
“Very satisfied! Thank you, Lady Riya!” Kaise exclaimed.
Kaise was ready to leave this place and head to the faraway lands, wanting to cut all ties—be it thoughts or emotional knots, best to clear them all away.
But she had still spared their lives.
Pain is punishment, but slaughter is persecution.
Kaise was still alive, and that was enough.
Of course, if Kaise truly wanted them dead, Yuliya wouldn’t mind giving her a hand.
She herself was indifferent, but Kaise needed to think about the burden she’d carry.
“Let’s go.”
Yuliya signaled for Kaise to leave, but just as she turned her back, she halted.
“Looks like we can’t just leave so easily.”
She lifted her eyes to the distance.
They could leave if they wanted; those folks couldn’t catch up with them.
However, teaching them a lesson here would save Kaise some trouble with the Beastmen down the line.
“Kaise, stand next to me, hide all your features and don’t move. Someone’s coming.”
“Ah? Yes!” Kaise adjusted her black cloak.
Before long, a figure rushed over and landed near them.
It was Beiji, Hani’s father.
He quickly glanced at the five lying there, limbs missing, then looked at his daughter, before scanning ahead.
“What are you doing here? How dare you act up in our territory! I advise you…”
Before he could finish, the surrounding leaves suddenly danced violently, shooting towards him like arrows.
Yuliya didn’t want to chit-chat; she was just waiting to smack someone around.
Beiji’s eyes widened, and with a swift burst of energy displaying his mid-tier Emerald Level strength, he braced himself against the assault.
Clang, clang, boom! The leaves shattered and flew everywhere.
However, Beiji’s expression grew increasingly serious.
He bore shallow scratches appearing on his body.
In the next moment, he felt a shift in momentum ahead, and he suddenly unleashed all his power to focus on defense.
With a loud crash, a powerful gust sent Beiji flying.
He flipped twice in the air, retreating over ten meters before landing on his feet.
“Tribe Leader!”
Just then, reinforcements arrived from behind, calling out before charging forward.
But Beiji raised a hand to stop them: “Stop!”
Beiji squinted at the two cloaked figures, letting them turn and leave.
Once their silhouettes disappeared completely, he sighed, “Alright, go check on those downed folks, and see what’s up with my embarrassing idiot.”
After checking, they confirmed the individuals were alive, but they wouldn’t be able to reattach their severed limbs.
Beiji scanned the area, suddenly stepped forward, and pulled out an envelope from Hani’s pocket.
After reading the contents, his face turned iron-gray.
“Just what kind of troublemakers do I have on my hands!”
With a fierce grip, Beiji crushed the letter and envelope into powder.
“Tribe Leader, about this matter we…”
“Act like nothing happened,” Beiji interrupted, raising his hand. “And figure out how to deal with these fools. Keep an eye on our waste of space and don’t let her out one step again.”
“Yes!”
