Transformed Into a Fallen Princess, I Sell Nuclear Bombs at the Beginner Village – Chapter 459

Chapter 459: The Secrets of the Beastmen’s Divine Being

On the fateful Monday morning, Yuliya teamed up with Danny at the academy’s entrance.

Danny casually asked, “Are you all set with your luggage for the trip?”

Yuliya nodded in response.

Then, she turned and headed out.

What Yuliya didn’t expect was that they weren’t going to trudge on foot; instead, there was a teleportation array nearby.

According to Danny, there were actually teleportation arrays in Saint Felis City leading to most of the countries in the Great Star Realm.

Cross-border teleportation was another story.

Just think about it: if Kaise made it to Saint Felis Academy, she definitely didn’t walk all the way from Kaistes—at her speed, it would have taken her two months! She must have teleported.

But if Kaistes could teleport directly, why not the Lysetti Kingdom?

If teleportation from the Lysetti Kingdom to Saint Felis City was an option, Inif would never have encountered an attack.

Of course, she wouldn’t have run into Yuliya either.

“Lysetti Kingdom? Well, they do have a teleportation array, but it seems it was cut off due to some previous war. Re-establishing it is a real hassle, and right now, the Lysetti Kingdom seems a bit busy to deal with teleportation issues.”

“What a shame. You have important ruins in your kingdom; without a teleportation array, visiting them must be a pain.”

Yuliya’s eyes lit up. “Can you elaborate, Mentor?”

However, Danny simply dropped a couple of hints and didn’t want to linger on that topic.

Yuliya had to drop it, especially since her character backstory claimed she was from the Lysetti Kingdom; asking others about “her own country” felt a bit awkward.

Upon reaching the teleportation array, Danny flashed his ID badge and waited for the guard to verify.

The management of this teleportation array was quite strict. Academy instructors could generally use it freely, but students had to apply specifically.

Others had it even tougher.

Teleportation arrays, especially ones for long distances, were extremely important strategic resources everywhere, and one couldn’t be careless—who knows, they might spark a major war!

Saint Felis City boasts teleportation arrays leading to various places, clearly highlighting the city’s extraordinary status in this vast realm.

Although it was unlikely that Saint Felis City would engage in war with others, what if some country decided to sneak through?

That’s why when the Lysetti Kingdom was at war with some beastmen country, their teleportation array was severed.

Fearing sneak attacks, both sides decided to cut off the links and have a good old-fashioned face-off instead.

Yuliya looked around, pondering these random thoughts while waiting.

After all, the war had been on pause for a while now—at least on the surface, it seemed relatively peaceful.

Finally, the two of them confirmed their identities and were granted passage.

After a lengthy teleportation wait, Yuliya and Danny emerged from the opposing teleportation array.

“Welcome to Rensyi Kingdom, the land of the Wolfmen! ‘Rensyi’ means ‘battle’ in their language. Wolfmen are one of the largest factions among the beastmen.”

Wolfmen? Wolf God? Fenrir?

Yuliya’s mind was racing with associations.

Pretty spot on, she thought.

Curious, she peered outside, taking in the sights of this kingdom’s residents.

Even though the city wasn’t the capital of Rensyi, it was still quite lively.

This was Yuliya’s first time closely observing a beastmen kingdom.

The last place she’d come across Kaise didn’t count; it was a backwater village, not a city at all.

The beastmen here appeared quite similar to humans, aside from the whole tail-and-ears thing and the occasional long fur, stripes, or claws.

Their clothing and habits resembled those of humans quite a bit.

However, the social structure still showcased clear differences.

After all, they were a different race.

Danny assumed Yuliya was interested in exploring this new beastmen land since it was her first time, so he let her look around.

Once her interest waned, he continued, “The ruins we’re heading to are about half a day’s journey from here. Apparently, it’s the ancient battlefield where the Wolfmen clashed fiercely with the Leopardmen. In the end, the Wolfmen drove the Leopardmen out and took over this area.”

“Shouldn’t that type of ruin have been thoroughly examined ages ago?”

Warfare between races was far too common in this world.

Even different nations among humans waged wars, not to mention across different races.

With so many wars, countless battlefield ruins popped up everywhere.

But battlefield ruins were generally underwhelming, often just simple clusters of rubble.

Yuliya was more intrigued by the fact that the Wolfmen and Leopardmen had been at war.

Though collectively referred to as beastmen, different tribes found it hard to fully merge.

Comparatively speaking, it was like wolves fighting cheetahs.

This dynamic wasn’t rare in the animal kingdom either.

However, there was one major caveat: it all had to happen when no one was watching.

After all, the existing beastmen had divine beings, just like the Cat Race once did.

Would divine beings let their painstakingly crafted beastmen engage in an all-out war?

Speaking of which, the fall of the Cat Race’s god held significant secrets.

The dynamics among the beastmen were far more complex than one might think.

“This ruin is quite large; I visited it a long time ago, but there were no notable discoveries—everything had been unearthed by previous explorers. Recently, however, a new area was excavated within the ruins.”

“I stopped by a while back and found some clues, then returned to the academy for research. I actually dug up some juicy details.”

Yuliya immediately probed, “What details?”

Danny glanced around to ensure no one was eavesdropping before leaning in to whisper, “I suspect that the past war between the Wolfmen and Leopardmen was intentional.”

“Intentional? By whom?”

Danny raised his hand to the sky and made a shushing gesture.

Yuliya narrowed her eyes.

It must’ve been the divine beings orchestrating this.

She had suspected as much, for it made sense and provided an easier explanation.

The war must have erupted shortly after the beastmen’s creation, and the gods of each race were undoubtedly keeping a watchful eye on their respective beastmen.

Yet somehow, a war still broke out?

There would be countless casualties in a war.

So, they definitely initiated it.

As for their motivation, Yuliya was completely stumped.

Was it some kind of test? Crafting a batch of their own kind and then tossing them against each other to see whose “kids” were tougher? Quality control?

While that sounded a bit absurd, it wasn’t entirely impossible.

At this point, they could only wildly guess without any concrete evidence.

“So, Professor Danny, is your goal this time to seek out direct evidence? Or even delve deeper into the reasons behind the gods’ actions?”

Danny nodded, a bit excited, “You catch on quick, Yuliya! That’s exactly my aim!”
