### Chapter 5: The Intention
Yun Bo has set his sights on the Rising Sun Theater Group.
A wandering twenty-four-year-old young man who often spouts, “My eye will see through your true face.”
“My hand will clear your wicked thoughts.”
“My sword will shatter your will.”
He wears these three phrases like they’re part of his daily outfit. They’re also what you might call pre-cast spells for activating the power of stars, though they sound a bit dramatic.
Yun Bo easily empathizes with the troubles of Star Eclipses, feeling sympathy and pity for them, believing they’re meant to coexist peacefully with humans.
The various dangers posed by Star Eclipses lower this possibility, however.
The justice in Yun Bo’s heart can’t bear the idea of Star Eclipses being enemies to humanity.
So, Yun Bo is always looking for a method to change the status quo, or perhaps someone who could solve the problem.
He’s just one of many hoping things could change, but unlike others, he’s more proactive and keeps moving around.
As a registered civilian Star Holder under the Night Watchers organization, Yun Bo naturally knows about the Rising Sun Theater Group.
He’s heard that the group includes both humans and Star Eclipses, currently in a very stable phase without any conflict.
Yun Bo thinks maybe he could observe them.
Then, luck would have it, the Rising Sun Theater Group appeared in Pinghai City, performing four times a month.
Yun Bo normally wouldn’t stay anywhere for long.
But the appearance of the Rising Sun Theater Group made him reconsider.
His gut tells him:
The answer he’s looking for might be within the Rising Sun Theater Group.
Of course, actively seeking answers won’t work — he missed the previous shows by sheer chance.
He can only wait for the next Grand Performance.
What he didn’t expect was that the entire Rising Sun Theater Group would show up at the beach where he works part-time.
Given that the Rising Sun Theater Group isn’t hiding, Yun Bo naturally was drawn to them.
This might be his one and only chance.
Because the Rising Sun Theater Group is dangerous, and his strength may not be enough to resist.
His eye can’t see their weaknesses, his hand can’t dispel their desires, and his sword can’t destroy their wills.
If he approaches in the usual manner, danger is inevitable.
“But… it could be an opportunity.”
Danger couldn’t stop him.
Yun Bo stood up and walked over toward the Group Leader.
He had already performed a few small magic tricks with some surrounding female performers.
Though not particularly skilled or impressive, they still managed to elicit some laughter from the women.
Naturally, the Group Leader’s charm was far more captivating than any of his tricks.
People are inherently visual creatures.
The Group Leader’s attractiveness was almost irresistible to some of the female audience.
Most young females were drawn to the Gentleman and the Fraudster.
All three were immensely popular, each having one to three women around them.
Only the Gentleman was engaging them in polite conversation, while the Group Leader and the Fraudster displayed their little performance skills.
To them, these women seemed to merely be part of the audience.
At this moment, the Group Leader noticed Yun Bo approaching.
Yun Bo’s gaze had an intense purpose, which was hard to miss.
The Group Leader said to the women near her:
“Excuse me for a moment.”
“You old gentleman, remember to come chat with us when you have time. We really enjoyed your small magic tricks, they were quite entrancing, much like Cupid’s arrow piercing through the heart ~”
After handing over their contact information to the Group Leader, the women left.
The Group Leader simply pocketed the information seemingly indifferent to it all.
Judging from the outcome of those contacts, they probably vanished as mysteriously as a magic trick.
The Group Leader approached Yun Bo.
Their heights weren’t vastly different, both above one meter eighty — a standoff situation, making the atmosphere immediately tense.
Yun Bo stared at the figure in front of him, feeling an immense pressure increasing.
He was acutely aware that he absolutely couldn’t defeat the Star Eclipse before him.
“Hello, Mr. Group Leader, I’m Yun Bo.”
Yun Bo greeted him in a submissive tone.
“What brings you here, sir? You don’t seem like an ordinary person, so I think you must have come here for something specific.”
“Yes, I do need to talk to you about something.”
Seeing that the Group Leader wasn’t planning to initiate combat, Yun Bo breathed a sigh of relief.
“May I ask if humans and Star Eclipses have achieved harmonious coexistence within your theater troupe?”
“It seems you’re quite intrigued by our troupe’s situation.”
“I can’t deny it. This concerns my ideals and goals. Please, Mr. Group Leader, enlighten me.”
The Group Leader gave Yun Bo a deep look.
“Since you’re so sincere, I’ll tell you. Within the troupe, including Performer, there are actually a few humans, and we haven’t let it affect the peace. We’ve always been in harmony.”
This statement gave Yun Bo hope.
“So, you’ve managed to make it work? Can you tell me how?”
Yun Bo wants to find a stable balance point.
The Group Leader glanced towards Performer’s sleeping direction.
“It’s the Performer’s effort, nothing to do with me.”
“The Performer, huh? What a remarkable individual.”
Yun Bo’s instinct tells him that Performer is the chosen one he’s been seeking.
“What are the Performer’s ideals?”
“Then, what are yours?”
“I dream of creating an environment where humans and Star Eclipses live in harmony. But I might lack the ability; I can only find someone capable and aligned with my vision and support them.”
“So is the Performer. She has the abilities and will surely achieve what you envision. I believe in her wholeheartedly.”
Hearing this, Yun Bo felt a surge of excitement.
“Can I lend a helping hand to her then?”
“But you’d have to seek her permission; I cannot make decisions for her.”
“I’ll ask,” said Yun Bo gratefully. “Mr. Group Leader, thank you for your insight. If every Star Eclipse in the world could be like you, it would be perfect.”
“A bit exaggerated,” the Group Leader replied with a gentle shake of the head.
“But for now, the Performer is resting and can’t be disturbed. You might want to wait for a while.”
With that, the Group Leader left Yun Bo to ponder alone.
After a while—
Yelan and Baiyu finally reached their destination—the beach where Ye Xing and the others were.
“Mm… Are we here already?”
Yelan yawned, stretched, and felt more alert now.
Baiyu, somewhat puzzled, asked, “Did Yelan not get enough sleep last night?”
Shaking his head, Yelan said, “I’m an early bird, little loli. Get eight hours of sleep every day. It’s just that right now I’m a bit drowsy, but I’ll recover quickly.”
“This, I can attest to,” Zero Meow chimed in.
Then, Bai Tu came along to ruffle the hair of the little lolis.
“Let’s not talk about that. Let’s put on your swimsuits.”
“Okay~”
Yelan responded lazily, then looked towards a certain direction.
The activities of the Rising Sun Theater Group were a fair distance away from their location.
Later, they could take Baiyu and the others to interact with them.
