Chapter 15: The Camping Adventure
The camping car zooming down the road… was radiating an overwhelming presence.
If it felt impressive for Sehee, who was driving, it must’ve been even more so for everyone else around her. The shiny steel parts and hefty volume were enough to squish surrounding sedans like they were little toys. Compared to when she drove a Rolls-Royce, the impression was definitely different, and a sense of excitement bubbled up, causing a tune to escape her lips.
“Hmm~ hrum~.”
If the camping car felt this good, the urge to someday drive a tank surged up inside her. Sure, tanks had practical issues compared to camping cars, making that an impossible dream. But imagining a tank charging down a highway just set off her inner Mad Max vibes.
“Sis, that looks fun!”
“Yeah, it’s my first time, but it’s easy.”
“What?”
Dahyeong, relaxing and recording with the camcorder, looked up in shock.
What’s with the surprise?
“Sis, is this your first time driving a big vehicle?”
“Uh, it’s just a learner’s permit.”
“Oh my….”
She shook her head, probably thinking, ‘I should edit that part out.’ Maybe she found it hard to believe. Sehee pouted slightly at this point. She might catch feelings.
Thank goodness, her driving skills as the designated bus driver for the Hero Squad didn’t scare her passengers or the surrounding vehicles. After all, she had defeated a Demon King; how hard could a camping car be?
“You’re going to broadcast using your phone, right?”
“Yeah, because the phone is the go-to for outdoor broadcasting. No need to lug around fancy equipment. But when should we do the live stream?”
“We’ll decide once we arrive.”
Dahyeong and Ajin would be filming a 24-hour close-up review of the camping car with their two camcorders. They’d then edit and upload it later.
On the other hand, they needed to think about how to handle the outdoor broadcast. They couldn’t just stream round-the-clock, could they?
That’s when Yura popped her head in from the back, eyes gleaming.
“This is amazing! It’s my first time on a camping car, and I wouldn’t mind living here.”
“Right? I’m satisfied too.”
“I thought it’d be messy inside, but the kitchen is so tidy. Can we really use it freely?”
“Sure, as long as you don’t break anything. If something does break, we just pay for the damage.”
Just then, a small commotion came from the back.
“No, you can’t do that.”
“Huh, it’s okay. I’ll try filming too.”
“I need to use that for the broadcast… Eek! Don’t stick your face in!”
“Why not? We’re just bonding~. This is how you get everyone involved.”
“…Ugh!”
Thank goodness they seemed to be getting along well.

“Wow! This is awesome!”
Hearing Yura’s admiration made Sehee involuntarily nod with pride.
She could credit her great advertisement for this. Not to show off, but she hoped they noticed her big contribution.
“The location is perfect. I’d love this kind of camping.”
“By the way, looks like Dahyeong was secretly annoyed?”
“It’s not so much annoyance… I just didn’t want to mix with other people for leisure activities by going too far away. But it’s nice here. No one else will come except us anyway.”
As Dahyeong said, the camping site they arrived at was even more beautiful than what they had seen online.
Large trees provided shade, and unless they forcibly changed direction, it was unlikely anyone would peek or approach. Everyone has different tastes, but personally, Sehee sought a reasonable sense of isolation for leisure activities. They might call that old-fashioned, but so what? The absence of interference allowed for the peace and tranquility to be enjoyed instead.
“I… I feel the same. So can you clean up a bit…?”
“Ajin is such a bumbling fool. Without Sehee’s buff, she’s a shabby Hero~.”
“Y-You keep….”
Ajin, whose complexion had turned pale for no apparent reason, and Jihye, who kept folding her arms, caught Sehee’s eye.
It was surprisingly fitting to see two people with clashing personalities come together. Well, let’s get started with what needs to be done.
Once the camping car was parked and everyone got out, Sehee focused and placed her hands on the car’s middle. To prevent any mishaps, she set up a barrier while also activating a weak suggestion so that they wouldn’t wander too close. In a world without supernatural powers, even a simple boundary like this worked wonders.
Soon, a warm golden light surrounded the camping car before fading away, and Sehee sighed with slight relaxation. Really, this planet seemed desperate to claim Heroes.
“Woohoo! I’m alive!”
With newfound vigor—as if bursting out of Jihye’s embrace—Ajin expressed her relief with a roar.
Now, it was time to set things up.
“Ajin, can you take care of that?”
“Okay! Leave it to me!”
As Ajin focused her energy, about ten clones popped up around her.
“Alright! Start taking things out from the trunk and set up quickly. Let’s move fast so we can relax with whatever time’s left.”
That was a line she was very familiar with. In fact, those sorts of phrases were probably used in not-so-pleasant situations before. Like in the military… or the military… or the military. Shaking off those memories, she quickly finished setting up the fire pit, table, and relaxation chairs.
Checking her phone, it was 3 PM.
They had hastily had lunch in the camping car, so it was a bit too early to kick off a barbecue party.
Carrying the fishing rod they grabbed from the trunk, they approached the riverbank. This was the designated fishing spot assigned to them, meaning other groups couldn’t come near. Having been attracted by the camping site’s features on the internet, she’d bought a new fishing rod, and it seemed to have been a good choice.
“Sehee, do you have fishing experience?”
“I’ve done it a few times before, but it’s been a while…”
“Oh!”
Jihye smiled in surprise as Sehee set up the fishing gear.
Camping often allows for a peaceful and calm concept. Rather than engaging in boisterous sports like kicking a ball, true leisure activities are about finding peace amid the chaos of city life, embracing nature’s tranquility.
“The water depth looks decent.”
“The water’s clear too. I could swim in the summer.”
“Speaking of which, where’s Yura?”
“She said she’s still getting ready, so she’s in the camping car.”
Well, as long as she was inside the barrier, there shouldn’t be any issues. Even if someone approached by some miracle, Yura would likely overpower any average adult male. With that unnecessary worry tossed aside, Sehee lifted the fishing rod. It clearly cost a pretty penny; the grip itself felt special. Plus, it had a satisfying weight, giving her high hopes for the thrill of catching something.
“Sis, I’m ready.”
Before she knew it, Ajin had finished operating her phone and announced it was set up in the holder.
That brought back memories of the last broadcast they did. Those days spent fiercely gaming for rank 1 felt like they were just yesterday.
After the merciless grind, each moment of success shone bright, yet it had been over a week now.
Unlike those furnace-like broadcasts from before, now it was a cool and tranquil stream beginning, bringing a slightly unfamiliar sensation.
Well, it was her first outdoor stream.
“Alright? Then go ahead and start.”
At this time, especially on a weekday, how many people would actually tune in?
Who knew, but maybe maintaining an audience for a fishing stream like this could be nice.

[When is Friede’s broadcast?]
[It’s scheduled for today, but I haven’t gotten any notifications yet.]
[Yeah, Friede isn’t streaming today. It’s a camping stream, right?]
[Hahaha! You got tricked again, Yuksu!]
[It’s 3 PM now, what kind of broadcast would she start? Usually, camping streams are just about dinner during the evening. I’ll just wait until dinner time.]
[I want to marry Friede and go on a honeymoon in a camping car.]
[For real, lol 10/10 would recommend.]
[A hot night in the camping car… now that’s something valuable.]
[This is definitely more romantic than any hotel, haha.]
Friede’s stream had been on a hiatus for over a week.
Now that she had broken the silence with her announcement of today’s camping stream, even a week felt like a long time for those already captivated by her. However, as lunchtime passed without any updates, the withdrawal symptoms started to sneak in, prompting complaints and grievances to spread on the channel’s bulletin board.
That’s when the unexpected event occurred just after 3 PM.
Notifications regarding the new stream began to pop up on the fans’ phones in various forms. Not only those who received simple notifications for Friede’s stream were excited; there were also those who had been refreshing the page, waiting for hours without subscribing or being notified.
In short, the entrance to the world they had been craving, Friede Style, had opened.
[Friede Camping Fishing Live ya~♥]
A title that might imply misunderstandings caught the eye, and there was nothing to hold them back now.
As the entrance was like a jump to a new world, their fingers clicked on Friede’s stream faster than ever… and her first outdoor broadcast began.
What were they even expecting from the title?
