Chapter 9: It’s Okay If It Gets Dirty, Right?
“Sorry, I hung out with my senior today and lost track of time.”
“No need to explain. Whatever the master does, wherever he goes, has nothing to do with Alice.”
“How can it not be related? I made Alice lonely; that’s completely my fault.”
Alice’s gaze shifted for a moment, but she still didn’t turn around, like a refined, elegant doll that wouldn’t budge without the wind-up mechanism, remaining untouched by the flattery of the mundane world.
“Alice isn’t lonely…!”
Unfortunately, Roy had the perfect touch to make the doll’s heart flutter.
Just a gentle pat on the head made the girl’s body relax, and the coldness on her face showed cracks, indicating she was softening immediately.
Watching her gradually melt in the warm glow of dusk, like a cheesecake on the verge of melting, Roy couldn’t help but grin.
He was already a master at taming Alice!
He knew precisely how to make this stoic little blonde exhibit the cuteness that any ordinary girl should have.
Holding her hand would bring her joy, a gentle foot massage would satisfy her, and a brief, soft kiss would reveal an angelic smile. Just a simple head pat could quickly calm her down, no matter how restless or angry she was.
And then she’d become adorable.
If Alice had a tail, it would be wagging joyfully by now.
Roy’s smile grew hard to contain, unaware that this gesture had been deeply imprinted in the dark eyes watching from a distance.
In the dim corner of the living room, just where the setting sun cast shadows, a little black snake fixated on the pair with an eerie glow in its eyes.
Yet, immersed in each other’s presence, neither of them noticed the anomaly in the room.
Just when Roy was about to get bolder and squeeze that delicate little face, Alice finally couldn’t hold back her comment.
“Master?”
“Hmm?”
“Is this how you sweet-talk other girls?”
The hand that was patting her head froze suddenly.
Staring into those little eyes full of resentment and hurt, Roy’s smile faltered, and for a moment, he was at a loss.
How could this happen?!
He was actually being interrogated by Alice?! When did this little cotton jacket learn to hit him where it hurt?!
“I-I wouldn’t do this with them!”
To be fair, head pats don’t exactly delight those other girls.
Patting Charlotte’s head would make her blow up, and patting Leanna’s head would result in her teasing him right back.
Nia was fine with being patted, but on occasions, he’d cross boundaries and touch her in odd places.
As for Xue Nuo, even now, unless he could warm her cold demeanor just right, Roy wouldn’t dare to offend her too much, let alone pat her head.
So, his logic was impeccable.
But Alice was relentless, picking up on his words, “So you’d sweet-talk them, huh?”
“Uh, well…”
Before Roy could think of a good response, Alice already snorted, “You definitely would.”
“Charlotte would throw a fit, Nia could be quite raucous sometimes. Not to mention Leanna and Teacher Xue Nuo; they must give you headaches, right?”
“But the master always manages to make them happy.”
Breaking free from Roy’s grasp, Alice’s cute face reverted to its cold demeanor.
That blunt tone was like a soft cotton jacket smacking him in the face; it sounded nothing like a compliment.
Alice’s eyes sparkled: “But I’m different.”
In the next second, she summoned a playful shove, throwing herself into the boy’s embrace.
The dining table shook as Alice tackled him down onto it.
Roy’s heart raced fiercely.
Not because of the girl’s sharp commentary, but because of those eyes.
Pure and endearing, yet filled with desire, shimmering with tender affection; they seemed capable of purifying any heart, like holy water, or like an alluring gemstone that captivated at first glance.
With her face nestled against his chest, Alice lowered her gaze, her cheeks slightly flushed and whispered, “Alice is different… so the master needs to sweet-talk me more…”
“Otherwise, Alice won’t spare you, you know?”
“……Okay.”
His pounding heart disturbed his thoughts. Other than that one word, Roy couldn’t articulate the usual sweet nothings he used on girls.
Only a heart full of yearning remained to coax the little angel.
Their lips met, bodies intertwined.
The table rattled repeatedly, sending neatly arranged tomatoes crashing to the floor, splattering vibrant, sweet-tart juice everywhere.
The veggies, grown with extraordinary fertilizers at the Magic Academy, were exceptionally delicious.
Fresh tomatoes must be irresistible, he thought suddenly.
But none could compare to Alice.
Having tasted both, Roy could provide a clear answer at this moment.
The flavor of iris petals, the most exquisite beauty, undoubtedly lingered on his lips, more intoxicating than any fruit nature could produce.
But now was not the time to indulge.
Unknowingly, Roy had turned the tables, pinning Alice beneath him.
With all his willpower, he finally managed to halt their movements.
“Master?”
The golden-haired girl, slightly breathing heavily, softly called out.
Just that seductive whisper nearly made Roy lose control again.
Feeling uneasy, he glanced toward the door: “This isn’t good, let’s wait until tonight.”
Everyone would be back for dinner.
Although Charlotte and the others didn’t mind his passionate escapades with Alice, it was still not appropriate to get carried away under the sun, right?!
Roy couldn’t imagine the expression on the girl’s face upon entering and witnessing such a scene, though he could easily picture himself getting charred to a crisp by a fireball.
Desire can cut deeper than any sword.
Don’t let your cravings break your resolve!
Roy’s breathing gradually calmed as he humorously remarked, “And you’re still in your uniform; getting it dirty wouldn’t be ideal, right?”
Just as he was about to rise, a delicate hand tugged at his sleeve, and her smooth legs intertwined with his, pinning him in place.
“Tonight will take a long while, won’t it?”
“Master, you promised to sweet-talk Alice.”
“Don’t worry, Alice will help the master get all sorted out quickly.”
“And about the uniform…”
Like the sun setting over golden wheat fields, crimson hues merged with the golden waves.
A fallen angel had never looked so radiant.
Leaning close to his ear, Alice gently whispered, “Tomorrow is Sunday.”
“It’s fine if the uniform gets dirty, right?”
She said it herself.
Then, let it get dirty!
His will power hadn’t been pierced by desire; he simply needed to act fast before they were discovered!
The dining table came alive like a wild horse breaking free, galloping passionately through the sunset-soaked fields of wheat.
But just as the fire of passion was reaching its peak—
The door burst open.
“Hehehe, look what I found?”
A soft, charming laughter, yet it radiated an icy chill.
Accompanied by a roar, a poisonous shadow slithered into the room, more fearsome than Medusa, as a sorceress stepped in.
