When Nomi woke up, she couldn’t see Yoonhwa on the bed.
She looked around in confusion and soon discovered Yoonhwa quietly lying on the floor.
“Yoonhwa unnie… why are you down there??”
Nomi called Yoonhwa with a worried voice as she approached.
But when Nomi called Yoonhwa, there was no reaction from her.
Yoonhwa was comfortably sprawled on the floor, deep in sleep.
A peaceful smile rested on her face, and her breath was even and steady.
It was clear that Yoonhwa was in a deep slumber.
“Yoonhwa unnie, are you not getting up..?”
Nomi observed Yoonhwa for a moment longer and realizing she was still fast asleep, she mumbled in annoyance.
Nomi knew she couldn’t wake Yoonhwa by herself, and feeling hungry, she headed to the living room to look for Hyun.
“I’m hungry… where did that guy go..?”
She tiptoed into the living room and glanced around in search of Hyun.
But the living room was quiet, and Hyun was nowhere to be seen.
Curious about Hyun’s whereabouts, Nomi wandered around the house, filled with hunger and curiosity.
While wandering through the living room, she was drawn in by the tantalizing smell of food.
Following the scent, she discovered a breakfast laid out on the dining table.
There was rice, steamed eggs, and various side dishes neatly arranged.
“Wow, what’s this?!”
Nomi’s eyes widened as she rushed to the table.
As soon as she sat down, she grabbed a fork and spoon without hesitation.
She began to shovel rice and side dishes into her mouth.
Each grain of rice, the softness of the steamed eggs, and the various flavors of the side dishes created a fantastic harmony in her mouth.
While eating, Nomi looked around and spotted the remote control, turning on the TV.
The morning news was playing on the screen, and she mindlessly flipped through channels.
Soon, a cartoon that caught her interest started, and Nomi became engrossed in it while continuing to eat.
The combination of breakfast and a TV cartoon provided Nomi with the perfect morning.
Just enjoying the delicious food while watching TV lifted her spirits.
Nomi was deep into the cartoon, but as she finished her meal and looked around the table, all the food had disappeared.
She felt a satisfied fullness and a grateful heart for Hyun.
“Where did he go to make this food?”
As she watched TV, Nomi recalled what Hyun had said yesterday.
“Oh! He mentioned meeting someone yesterday!”
Nomi turned off the TV after the cartoon ended and pondered for a moment while sitting at the dining chair.
After finishing the cartoon, the surroundings grew quiet, and boredom engulfed her.
Now, nothing caught her attention.
“Ahh, I’m so bored!”
“Yoonhwa unnie is still sleeping…”
Nomi got up from the chair, annoyed.
She thought about the time spent with Hyun; if he were here, they would surely be doing something fun right now, making her feel even more bored and restless.
As Nomi entered the room, she caught sight of Yoonhwa peacefully breathing on the floor.
Yoonhwa was sleeping on her stomach, her nine tails occasionally moving lazily, signaling her deep slumber.
Yoonhwa’s ears twitched lightly in comfort, showing that she was feeling secure.
Her breathing came regularly, and occasionally, a loud snore echoed.
“Unnie, wake up! I’m really bored right now!”
Nomi shouted right next to Yoonhwa in an attempt to wake her, but Yoonhwa didn’t budge, as if she were a sleeping animal deep in the forest.
Despite Nomi’s voice and worries, Yoonhwa continued to bask in the comfort of dreamland.
Nomi felt a surge of determination to wake Yoonhwa.
Seeing her so deeply asleep without responding to her calls filled Nomi with a mix of frustration and a bit of anger.
“Are you really not getting up?!”
Nomi gently shook Yoonhwa’s body, trying to wake her.
At first, she shook her softly, but when Yoonhwa didn’t move, she started shaking her harder.
“Unnie, stop sleeping, you need to wake up!”
She lightly poked Yoonhwa’s side with her fingers to urge her.
Yet, Yoonhwa only curled up for a moment, looking uncomfortable, but soon returned to her peaceful breathing and drifted deeper into sleep.
Nomi thought that just poking Yoonhwa’s side wasn’t enough.
She placed her hand on Yoonhwa’s belly.
Yoonhwa’s belly was soft and squishy, and as Nomi’s hand touched it, it began to move lightly.
“Soft~ wake up, please!”
Nomi gently pressed Yoonhwa’s belly with a playful tone.
But Yoonhwa merely sighed comfortably and slipped deeper into sleep.
Despite Nomi’s playful actions, Yoonhwa showed no signs of waking up from her deep slumber.
Nomi felt a wave of frustration at Yoonhwa’s lack of response but refused to give up.
She attempted various methods to wake Yoonhwa, but Yoonhwa remained sound asleep.
Finally, Nomi came up with a new strategy. She carefully grabbed one of Yoonhwa’s fluffy tails.
“This should definitely wake her up!”
Nomi gently pulled on Yoonhwa’s tail.
At first, she just toyed with it lightly, but when Yoonhwa showed no reaction, she pulled a bit harder.
In that moment, Yoonhwa’s tail suddenly began to wiggle wildly.
The tail moved with the force of something alive and swung toward Nomi.
Nomi was startled by the sudden reaction of the tail and staggered backward.
“Whoa..!!”
Nomi almost lost her balance and fell backward but somehow managed to stay upright.
Yoonhwa’s tail continued to move lightly as if warning Nomi about her actions.
After a moment of surprise, Nomi felt an interest in the way Yoonhwa’s tail was reacting.
What started as a simple attempt to wake Yoonhwa turned into a new source of amusement for her.
“Haha, your tail is so fascinating, unnie!”
Nomi laughed at being pushed by Yoonhwa’s tail and reached out to it again.
This time, she approached with more caution as if playing with the tail.
Yoonhwa’s tail wiggled again, and Nomi moved her body in sync as they began to play together.
Feeling like the tail was responding, Nomi found this situation increasingly enjoyable.
“Unnie, at this rate, you might wake up!”
Nomi thought that her spontaneous play with Yoonhwa’s tail was the perfect remedy for her boredom.
She couldn’t help but laugh as she played with Yoonhwa’s tail and passed the time.
At first, Yoonhwa’s tail lightly responded to Nomi’s playful antics, but over time, that response started to grow stronger.
What began as a gentle swaying of the tail was now starting to push Nomi more assertively.
“Wow! It’s getting stronger!?”
Nomi was both surprised and delighted, feeling the tail respond more forcefully to her antics.
As Nomi continued to play, Yoonhwa’s tail began reacting with increasing intensity.
Nomi was completely engrossed in playing with the tail when suddenly, before she finished her sentence, Yoonhwa’s tail abruptly swung hard.
With a powerful shove from the tail, Nomi completely lost her balance and fell backward.
Behind her were a low table and various decorations, and she crashed into them, sending everything tumbling down.
“Ahh!”
With Nomi’s scream, the noise resonated throughout the room.
Small pots and magazines that were on the table crashed to the floor, shattering everywhere.
Soil spilled out of the pots, creating a mess around, and Nomi found herself momentarily frozen in shock.
While cradling her head in pain, Nomi noticed a small wound from scraping her elbow against a sharp edge of a magazine.
A slight amount of blood oozed out of the redness where her skin had been scraped.
“Ugh… that hurts…”
Nomi sat on the floor in shock and pain.
Tears brimmed in her eyes, blending feelings of hurt and surprise as they began to trickle down.
Overcome by the suddenness of the situation and deep pain, Nomi let out small sobs.
“Waaah..!!”
Nomi’s trembling voice filled the room.
She carefully touched the painful area on her elbow, feeling the stinging pain.
Blood from the small cut marked her fingertips, and as she saw it, Nomi cried even harder.
It felt unbelievable that the surroundings had become such a mess or that the tail had knocked her over.
Nomi had never expected her playful antics would lead to this, leaving her disoriented by the abrupt situation.
The room was dark, and only Nomi’s cries filled the silence.
She was weeping, overwhelmed by pain and shock.
The area around her was a disaster of soil and broken magazines, tension thick in the air.
Just then, a strange presence could be felt from one side of the room.
Nomi wiped her tears and looked up toward that direction.
In the darkness, something seemed to be moving slowly towards her.
Its shape was unclear, but it gradually began to take form in the dim light.
Eunho emerged from the shadows.
“N-Nomi, why are you crying!? Are you okay?”
Eunho asked cautiously.
His voice was soft and sincere.
Hearing Eunho’s voice made Nomi realize that someone else was beside her.
At first, she froze in surprise but began to relax as she recognized the familiarity of his voice.
With a tear-streaked face, she turned to Eunho and whimpered.
“Eunho oppa… I’m hurt…”
Eunho stepped into the room, instantly overwhelmed by the scene before him.
The first shock was realizing that the fear he felt had shown itself in Nomi.
The second shock came when he saw her crying.
Her tear-stained face and injured state tugged painfully at Eunho’s heart.
“N-Nomi, are you okay..??”
He tried to soothe her tears but hesitated, unsure how to comfort her.
The third shock came when he noticed Yoonhwa peacefully sleeping on the floor.
“Yoonhwa… why is she sleeping here…?”
Eunho never expected Yoonhwa would be napping in such an odd spot.
His gaze was filled with confusion.
Finally, Eunho was surprised for the fourth time by the complete chaos in the room.
Soil from a pot was scattered across the floor, and the remnants of broken magazines combined with Yoonhwa’s tail revealed the traces of the pandemonium.
“What on earth is happening here?..”
“Why is it such a mess??”
Eunho looked around, trying to grasp the situation amidst his confusion.
“Waaah!…”
Seeing Nomi cry and hurt made his heart race.
He rummaged through his pockets, looking for something to help Nomi.
When his hand found a small dark tube in his pocket, he quickly pulled it out.
Twisting off the lid revealed a dark ointment inside.
The ointment exuded a strong scent and shimmered subtly.
Eunho gently smeared the ointment onto his finger.
“Nomi, I’m going to apply this..!”
“It might sting a little!..”
Eunho’s voice was calm and soft, trying to reassure Nomi while keeping an eye on her reaction.
As the black ointment touched Nomi’s wound, she held her breath for a moment and tensed up.
When the ointment met her injury, Nomi felt a slight sting that soon turned into a refreshing sensation.
“Ugh… it stings..!”
Eunho examined her injury closely, checking if it was improving.
After applying enough ointment, he capped the tube and returned it to his pocket.
“Okay, it seems like it’s getting better…”
Nomi looked at Eunho with gratitude in her eyes. Remarkably, the area where the black ointment was applied began to heal rapidly.
After the initial sting faded, the redness at the wound gradually disappeared, and the skin appeared to return to its original state.
Nomi raised her arm to inspect the area where the wound had been, eyes wide with astonishment as she looked at Eunho.
“Wow, oppa! This is incredible!”
“I’m healing so fast!”
Her voice was filled with wonder and joy.
Eunho cautiously smiled at Nomi’s reaction.
“Yeah, I’m glad…”
“What happened that led to this..??”
Eunho sighed in relief at Nomi’s rapid recovery.
Just as the tension in the room seemed to lessen, Yoonhwa, deep in her slumber on the floor, began to stir slightly.
Her movements grew larger, and soon she stretched lightly and opened her eyes.
“Ugh… I’m hungry…”
Yoonhwa mumbled sleepily.
Her eyes focused on the familiar ceiling, then turned to Eunho, Nomi, and the chaotic room.
‘What the heck is this..?!’
Yoonhwa gasped, her eyes widening as she shouted toward Eunho.
“Eunho, was it you again??!”
