As soon as Hyun stepped into the bathroom, strange and uncomfortable noises echoed from within.
Yoonhwa and Nomi exchanged bewildered glances.
Nomi, looking worried, spoke up.
“Something weird is coming from there…”
“Is he okay?”
Yoonhwa stared at the bathroom door, her eyes filled with deep concern, waiting for Hyun to come out safely.
After a while, the ominous sounds from the bathroom began to fade away.
A few minutes of tense silence passed before the bathroom door slowly creaked open.
Hyun appeared in the gap of the door.
His face was pale, beads of sweat trickling down his forehead.
Gasping for breath, Hyun leaned against the wall and slowly walked into the living room.
“Hyun, are you okay?”
Yoonhwa asked cautiously.
Hyun opened his mouth to respond, but instead of words, he exhaled a deep sigh.
He struggled to explain his condition while being met with Yoonhwa and Nomi’s worried gazes.
“I’m fine…”
Breathing heavily, Hyun awkwardly posed a question.
“Why am I… here?”
“Where’s Roji?!”
Hyun’s voice was filled with anger and confusion.
Yoonhwa was taken aback by Hyun’s unexpected reaction, but sensing the sincerity in his gaze, she replied carefully.
“Hyun, you… were a bit drunk, and that person brought you here.”
“She left a long time ago…”
Despite Yoonhwa’s explanation, Hyun’s face remained filled with dissatisfaction and bewilderment.
As Hyun hurriedly prepared to head for the door, Yoonhwa moved to block him.
In her mind echoed Eunho’s warning, “He’ll throw a fit if he finds out Rozi’s gone!! Don’t let him leave without cleaning up.”
Yoonhwa stood firm in front of Hyun and said in a resolute voice.
“Hyun, not now.”
“You’re way too drunk!!”
Hyun tried to push Yoonhwa aside, but she didn’t budge.
Yoonhwa’s strength was surprisingly formidable for Hyun.
“Where did you say Roji was?!”
“Don’t get in my way, move!!”
There was a sense of desperation in Hyun’s behavior.
His eyes were confused, his tone frantic.
“I need to see her… just let me through…”
She looked at him gently and spoke in a softer voice.
“Hyun, Roji’s already gone.”
“You should rest here for a bit!!”
At that moment, Nomi timidly grabbed Hyun’s arm and said.
“Is she more important than us…?”
“Can’t I just play with you??”
Nomi’s voice mixed pure curiosity with a tinge of disappointment.
As Hyun’s eyes began to focus, the anxiety and confusion on his face seemed to lessen.
He glanced at Yoonhwa and Nomi’s worried expressions and, as if realizing something, let out a deep sigh and sat on the floor.
“Ha… I get it… I might have gotten too excited…”
“Sorry… I think I need to take a break.”
Hyun sat on the floor with his head down, apologizing with a voice full of remorse.
Yoonhwa let out a sigh of relief upon seeing Hyun regain his composure.
She cautiously approached him and spoke.
“Hyun, there’s a strange smell coming from you…”
“When I smell it, it feels… odd…”
Hyun paused at her words and caught a whiff of his clothes.
Realizing he was unknowingly intoxicated by the scent of perfume, he grew even more flustered.
“Oh, right… who sprayed this…?”
Hyun clicked his tongue, processing his state, and nodded at Yoonhwa’s words.
Yoonhwa gently suggested.
“Hyun, why don’t you wash up and change your clothes?”
“You’ll feel much fresher that way.”
Nomi also approached Hyun, holding his hand in agreement.
“Yeah, you’ll feel better after a wash!”
Hyun seemed to feel a bit more at ease with Yoonhwa and Nomi’s warm encouragement.
He cautiously got up and headed toward his room.
“Yeah… I’ll shower first.”
Hyun slowly rose from his spot.
His movements still appeared a bit unsteady, but he seemed emboldened by Yoonhwa and Nomi’s support.
He went to his room, and a moment later emerged with pajamas, a clean towel, and underwear.
The pajamas he held seemed to be made of comfy material, and the towel looked soft and fluffy.
As Hyun walked to the bathroom with these in hand, he gestured for Yoonhwa and Nomi to wait a moment.
“Just… rest easy.”
Hyun’s voice seemed more steady now.
He opened the bathroom door and carefully shut it behind him.
As soon as Hyun entered the bathroom, Yoonhwa and Nomi returned to the cozy atmosphere of the living room.
Nomi pointed at the TV in the living room and suggested to Yoonhwa.
“Hey, sis, let’s watch a cartoon!”
Yoonhwa smiled at Nomi’s suggestion and nodded.
“Sure, Nomi! Let’s watch the anime you like.”
Nomi happily picked up the remote and turned on the TV.
She switched it to her favorite cartoon channel, and the two sat comfortably on the sofa.
The screen displayed a scene from an animated show bursting with vibrant movement and witty storytelling.
The protagonists shared their special abilities while strengthening their friendship before setting off on an adventure.
Yoonhwa and Nomi got lost in the captivating characters and storyline of the cartoon.
Sometimes they laughed together at the humorous scenes on screen, and at other moments, clenched each other’s hands during tense moments.
As time flew by while watching the animation, a warm atmosphere blossomed between the two.
When the bathroom door opened and Hyun cautiously stepped into the living room, Yoonhwa and Nomi briefly turned their gazes away from the TV to look at him.
Hyun emerged wearing his polka-dotted pajamas, which were undeniably cute, and though he could have looked awkward, Yoonhwa found an unexpected adorableness in him.
A smile involuntarily spread across Yoonhwa’s face.
She chuckled as she looked at Hyun.
“Pffft…!! Hyun, those pajamas are too cute!”
Yoonhwa laughed while questioning him.
Her voice was filled with mischief and affection for Hyun.
For a moment, Hyun froze and glanced down at his pajamas.
An awkward smile crept onto his face.
“Oh, this is… just something I found in the closet…”
“Everything else was in the laundry…”
Upon hearing Hyun’s answer, Yoonhwa burst into laughter once more.
She found Hyun’s flustered state even cuter.
“They look good on you, Hyun~!”
Nomi chimed in, giggling at Hyun’s pajamas.
“Hey, those clothes are adorable!”
Hyun cautiously walked toward the sofa and settled between Yoonhwa and Nomi.
As soon as he sat down, Nomi shot him a slightly annoyed look.
“I’m sitting next to Yoonhwa! Move!”
Hyun was briefly taken aback before bursting into laughter.
“Ahahaha.. okay, okay.”
Hyun chuckled as he got up, moving to the end of where Yoonhwa was sitting, placing her in the center of the sofa.
As Yoonhwa and Nomi focused on the amusing animation, Hyun sat comfortably on the new sofa and spent time with them.
However, when the animation cut to an ad break, Hyun’s gaze naturally wandered around the living room.
When his eyes landed on the sofa he was sitting on and the desk next to it, awe covered his face.
“Uh…?”
“When did this sofa and desk get here…?”
Hyun muttered in astonishment.
His expression clearly reflected genuine surprise at the arrival of the new furniture.
Yoonhwa smiled at Hyun’s reaction and explained.
“Oh, Hyun. It arrived today!”
“The new sofa and desk came while you were asleep.”
Yoonhwa’s voice carried a tone of satisfaction at welcoming the new furniture.
Nomi, enjoying Hyun’s surprised reaction, added.
“People dropped them off!”
“Aren’t they pretty?!”
Hyun looked at Nomi’s new desk and smiled.
“Wow, it’s really beautiful! You picked well~.”
Hyun admired each piece of furniture and complimented the design and vibe of the sofa and desk chosen by Yoonhwa and Nomi.
Suddenly, as a brilliant scene from the animation filled the TV screen, Hyun’s gaze sparked as if he remembered something.
“Ah, wait…!”
Hyun hurriedly dashed from the living room to the room where he had been sleeping.
His tense expression and hasty steps radiated an urgency as if he recalled something important.
Yoonhwa and Nomi, left in the living room, exchanged perplexed looks at Hyun’s sudden actions.
As Hyun burst through the door, he couldn’t contain his shock at the scene before him.
The room was a complete mess.
What caught his eye first were the shattered flower pot, the scattered soil, the plants, and magazines strewn all over.
“What… on earth happened here?”
Hyun murmured, his mind swirling in confusion as he briefly surveyed the room, contemplating how to fix the situation.
After a moment, Hyun made up his mind and left the room to head back to the living room.
He decided to ask Yoonhwa and Nomi what had happened.
“Yoonhwa, Nomi!”
As Hyun entered the living room, calling for them, Yoonhwa and Nomi turned their gazes from the TV to Hyun.
Curiosity was evident on their faces.
“What happened while I was gone??”
Hyun asked in a bewildered tone.
Yoonhwa and Nomi exchanged looks, a brief awkward silence enveloping them.
Nomi slowly started to speak.
“Well, um… actually…”
She looked as though she was struggling to find the right words.
Yoonhwa helped her out, continuing the story.
“This morning, something happened. Actually…”
Her voice was laced with a hint of guilt.
“Nomi woke me up by playing with my tail.”
“But my tail reacted…”
Nomi picked up from Yoonhwa’s words.
“My sister’s tail… pushed me really hard, and I accidentally bumped into something and fell…”
Nomi’s voice mixed with sincerity and a bit of awkwardness.
Hyun nodded as he listened to their explanation.
“So that’s how the pot broke, and the room ended up like this…”
A sigh of relief at understanding the situation came from Hyun’s voice.
Yoonhwa continued.
“I’m really sorry, Hyun…”
Hyun exhaled as he watched them.
“Nomi, are you hurt anywhere?”
Nomi smiled at Hyun’s worried inquiry.
“I’m fine! Eunho oppa treated me.”
Her voice carried gratitude for Eunho’s help.
Hyun looked at Nomi in shock.
“Eunho? Treated you? How?”
Nomi picked up on Hyun’s curiosity and added her explanation.
“Yeah, he brought this weird black stuff and put it on me!”
“And somehow, magically, the wound disappeared quickly!”
Yoonhwa, listening to the conversation between Hyun and Nomi, fell into momentary contemplation.
She took a deep breath, glancing at the mess around her as if resolved.
“Well then, shall I try cleaning this up?”
Yoonhwa declared.
Nomi and Hyun looked on, curious about what she would do.
Yoonhwa closed her eyes for a moment, bringing her hands together, and began to concentrate. A soft light began to gather between her fingers.
At first, it was a small light, but as Yoonhwa focused more, the light grew brighter and larger.
Soon, bright light began illuminating the entire room centered around her hands.
Nomi and Hyun stared in amazement, their eyes wide.
At that moment, the light burst forth like an explosion, and the chaotic room began to sort itself out like magic.
Yoonhwa’s concentrated energy spread in the form of light, gradually returning things to their original state.
The broken pot shards flew through the air, reassembling, and scattered magazines stacked up as if blown by the wind.
It was as if time rewound, restoring everything to its former state.
However, the plants in the room were unaffected by the magic.
After Yoonhwa opened her eyes and withdrew the light from her hands, she explained to Hyun and Nomi.
“Things with life… can’t be reversed…”
“So the plants… didn’t go back to normal.”
Both Hyun and Nomi felt a mixture of astonishment at the fact that Yoonhwa’s magic didn’t work on the plants, yet let out sighs of relief at the tidied room.
Yoonhwa carefully examined the plants, gently handling the ones in the broken pot, and began repotting them with love and care, her touch infused with affection as the plants responded, regaining their vitality under her hands.
