One Elena calzone for me.
A bit of Felicita’s curry, and also a little of Veronica’s pane.
I received part of the food ordered by the three of them. My own order wasn’t lacking, but it was always a nice experience to taste a variety of dishes.
Of course, I offered a part of my meal to the three of them.
“Luke, I’m good.”
“Really?”
“…Alright, just one bite.”
Felicita tried to refuse, but when I insisted on feeding her, she accepted.
“….”
“….”
The looks on Elena and Veronica’s faces watching us were so scary. I hastily offered the same to the other two.
I rolled up a meatball with pasta and fed it to Elena beside me, and handed Veronica some sliced steak and roast beef.
“Luke, you’re not going to be hungry later because of us, are you?”
“Huh? No, don’t worry about that.”
I appreciated Felicita’s concern, but… it was needless.
I confidently called the waiter to order more food. Elena’s calzone and arancini, a fried rice ball from Tyrrhenia.
“From just ordering two dishes, it seems like you aren’t that hungry.”
“Honestly, I think I could just eat arancini.”
“Then why did you order the calzone?”
“I had a taste of what you ordered earlier, and it was better than I expected.”
“…You could’ve just said that!”
Elena said she would’ve been fine with just giving me more of her calzone, but she didn’t realize the important thing.
If I had eaten my fill of calzone, there probably wouldn’t be any left for Elena.
“Hey brother, aren’t you eating too much meat?”
“That’s why I ordered arancini too.”
“…Does the arancini here not have meat in it?”
“That can’t be. It’s definitely packed with meat and tomato ragu sauce.”
Elena responded to a worried Veronica.
“Brother?”
“Well, there’s probably more rice than meat, so it should be okay, right?”
“….”
Veronica looked thoughtfully at Felicita, who slowly shook her head.
“Vera, there’s no helping it. It’s easier to just give up.”
“Brother.”
“Yeah?”
Instead, Veronica offered me a portion of her order of caprese.
Caprese, to be exact, insalata caprese.
A salad alternately layered with mozzarella cheese, basil, and tomatoes, drizzled with olive oil.
It seemed Veronica mistook my love for meat for only wanting to eat meat. Anything that goes into my mouth is fine with me.
Without any hesitation, I quickly finished the caprese Veronica handed me.
Before long, the food I ordered arrived. The other three were still slowly enjoying the food they initially ordered.
“Luke, did you really like the calzone that much?”
“Yeah, it’s not like I want to eat it all the time… but eating like this occasionally isn’t so bad.”
The calzone had chicken and pepperoni, and of course, various kinds of cheese inside. That’s a given for a calzone.
Some people dip it in a marinara sauce based on tomatoes, but for me, just savoring the taste of the calzone itself was enough.
Maybe because I felt the flavor a little less than others.
“Brother, which sister are you going to sleep with tonight?”
“Elena. It’s Elena’s turn tonight.”
When I answered Veronica’s question, Elena looked quite pleased.
In contrast, Felicita seemed a bit less energetic than usual.
“Sunday is the day we all spend together, you know?”
“Yeah, we agreed on that. But why are you asking?”
“….”
Veronica didn’t respond, and I began to feel anxious. It wasn’t just me; Elena and Felicita also seemed a bit tense.
“…I was wondering if you could spend at least Sunday with me.”
“What?!”
“Vera, that would be a bit troublesome.”
Elena and Felicita reacted faster than I did. But Veronica seemed unwilling to back down.
“Sister, can’t you give up just one day for your little sister?”
“As long as you’re really talking from the sister’s perspective, I guess. You definitely don’t mean it.”
“…Wouldn’t it be better for both of you to do this?”
Instead of answering Elena’s question, Veronica deflected it with another question.
Meanwhile, Felicita, with a more amiable attitude than Elena, asked what exactly would be better for us.
“If you guys are with Brother on Sunday… honestly, doesn’t it just intensify the competition?”
“That’s true. Since it’s different from usual, you’d be fighting to claim me in front of each other.”
“So, to eliminate the need for you two to compete, I’ll be with Brother.”
Veronica’s persuasion didn’t seem to hold much weight.
Elena and Felicita’s expressions were filled with dissatisfaction.
In fact, Veronica’s argument sounded plausible, but ultimately it meant she was saying she would take me away from both of them.
“No way. Veronica.”
“Me and Elena don’t usually fight this much anyway.”
“….”
Elena and Felicita’s responses were clear. They both firmly opposed it.
“How about you hear Brother’s opinion?”
All three of them focused their attention on me. I had just been enjoying my calzone and arancini.
“Suddenly?”
“Luke, give it a try. What do you think?”
“Well, Elena and Fel, I don’t think you two are going to accept it.”
“Luke, we just want to hear your thoughts first, that’s all.”
At Felicita’s words, I stopped putting food in my mouth.
“…Veronica, even if we go along with your way, it doesn’t solve the problem.”
“Huh?”
If we maintain the current situation, Elena and Felicita would fight to claim me in the same room.
Although the person claiming me would change frequently, both of them would be sad.
But if we followed Veronica’s words… both Elena and Felicita would be sad too. It’s a situation where they would be sad either way.
“So?”
“I think you could just be with us on Sundays as well.”
“What?!”
“I’m fine with that.”
Elena reacted strongly to my suggestion, but Veronica showed no hesitation in agreeing.
“…I don’t mind either.”
“That’s no surprise. You’d be thinking you could win anyway, right?”
“No, I wouldn’t think so.”
It seemed everyone didn’t have much opposition to what I suggested. Still, I had a feeling this would just make the competition even fiercer.
Well, it can’t be helped. In the end, it would all be my fault.
After finishing dinner, Elena and I returned to our room, while Felicita and Veronica headed to their respective rooms.
“….”
As soon as Elena entered the room, she tightly hugged me.
“Elena, what’s wrong?”
“No, I just thought it would be noisy on Sunday in many ways, so I wanted to monopolize you while I could.”
“Was my suggestion a bit out there?”
“No, it’s fine. It’s true that I can’t completely exclude Veronica.”
“Still, isn’t it better than her monopolizing me on Sunday?”
“Hah, is that even a question?”
Elena said that and picked me up to take me into the living room of the room.
“Elena.”
“Yes?”
“I think it’s about time we should leave here.”
“What do you mean?”
“We can’t keep staying in the hotel forever. This isn’t suitable for raising kids either.”
“….”
“And besides, even though it’s not perfect, we’ve taken over the northern part of the city. This hotel is too far from the Academy and the city center.”
It hadn’t been like this before… but the Lupus Carlton Hotel had established a distance between my territory and Elena’s territory.
“Hmm.”
“I think we should buy a nice mansion in the city center and move there.”
It might not be as grand as Financial King Hagen’s mansion, but as long as it was decent enough to be called a mansion, it should be fine.
“Alright.”
“You’re okay with it, right? It’s not something you dislike or anything?”
“Not at all. It’s just that going back and forth from the hotel to the city center felt a bit off.”
“I’ll tell Fel and Veronica.”
“Sure.”
Elena said that and called Salmo. She asked him to look into whether there was a suitable mansion for us to move into in the city center.
After a brief phone call, the night spent alone with Elena felt quite long.
Of course, that didn’t mean it was boring or anything negative.
*
But when I opened my eyes again, it was Felicita’s room.
“What’s up, Fel? When did you move me?”
“Just a moment ago? You seemed to be sleeping so peacefully that I couldn’t even bring you.”
“….”
I had definitely slept well yesterday.
I remembered the moments of making love while chatting with Elena. As I recollected them, I felt Felicita’s touch.
“Felicita, when did you get so proactive?”
“Well, you know. It’s all because of our little darling.”
Just as expected.
While I appreciated her elegant demeanor, this proactive side of Felicita wanting me wasn’t so bad either.
I responded to her expectations and shared a deep kiss from the morning.
I could feel the long tail slowly moving up my leg along my thigh and to my chest.
“Isn’t the tail’s movement a bit too lewd?”
“Huh? Isn’t it just you being lewd for feeling that way?”
“Maybe.”
I wouldn’t say I lacked sexual desire. However, what stood out most about me was definitely my appetite.
“Oh, Fel. I have something to say.”
“What is it?”
“I think moving to the city center would be a good idea.”
I shared the same reasoning with her that I had given Elena.
“When are we planning to move?”
“Well, I guess we can start gradually from now on.”
“Hmm….”
“So how about it? It’s not something you dislike, right?”
Her answer mirrored Elena’s. At the very least, the three of us felt that this hotel wasn’t suitable as a place for child-rearing.
After that, I headed to Veronica’s room to confirm her opinion.
Though I didn’t need to mention something related to child-rearing to Veronica, she willingly agreed for her nephews and nieces.
“Brother, are you going straight to the Academy today?”
“No, I’m heading towards Viola. You heard yesterday, right? I need to meet with those Viper dudes.”
“Oh… right.”
Vipers lurking in Viola Carmen’s territory.
“Please be careful. I’ve heard that Vipers can’t be let down their guard.”
“Who told you? Rita Carmen?”
“Yeah. She used to be the leader of the Spider.”
“Right, that was it.”
Wolves, Spiders, Vipers.
They were the strongest arms boasted by the Five Families, but in this day and age, they existed in quite a different form.
After saying goodbye to Veronica, I immediately hopped in an armored car and headed toward Viola Carmen’s base.
I completely crossed the eastern part of the city and, after crossing a bridge, entered Viola’s territory. Then I arrived at a secret social club she was using as her stronghold.
“Godfather. Welcome.”
“Where are those guys?”
“They’ve been really well settled here.”
It didn’t seem wise to take Viola’s words at face value.
“I need to see them right now.”
“Yes.”
Viola ordered her subordinates to bring them before me.
