“Eriel! We have to fix the weapon right now!”
“Fix the weapon…?”
Eriel tilted her head in confusion. Eventually, she noticed the broken Revenge Sword I was holding.
“Th-that sword! What happened?!”
“It broke while fighting Peremus.”
“Why? How? No, why all of a sudden?!”
Eriel urgently grabbed the broken Revenge Sword from my hands, her eyes wide with panic as she looked at the shattered blade in dismay.
“P-Pasma! Can you see or hear Pasma’s spirit?!”
“Sorry. Ever since it broke, I can’t see or hear anything.”
I averted my gaze from Eriel’s tear-filled eyes as I answered.
“W-What…! We broke up because of Peremus… and now it’s happening again because of him…!”
Eventually, Eriel sank to her knees, unable to hold back her tears. Clutching the sword tightly, she sobbed uncontrollably.
Amid the sounds of chaos and screams around us, all I could hear was her crying.
I clenched my fists and bit down on my lower lip. I didn’t want to just sit there and watch her cry like this.
“Stop crying.”
I sat down beside Eriel and held her shoulders.
“If we fix the weapon, maybe we can put the soul back into it. We can’t be sure of anything yet.”
“…Hic.”
Eriel sniffled and wiped her eyes. She slowly lifted her face to look at me, and after a long moment of eye contact, she used her hand to wipe away the tears before standing up.
“Okay. Let’s not give up just yet. Let’s fix it first—”
“Let’s do it later… later.”
“What?”
I was taken aback by her unexpected words. Eriel should have wanted to get it fixed immediately, so the delay made no sense to me.
“Just a little while, let’s wait a little bit… because this might be the moment for the revenge we’ve waited decades for…”
“Are you sure…?”
“I’m fine. I’m sure I’ll be fine…”
Her shoulders trembled as she clenched her fists.
It seemed Eriel was bracing herself. I had no words left to offer her comfort.

When Iris activated Absolute Domain, all the demons within range turned their heads toward her. They realized that the magic was gone.
With the disappearance of the magic, it was only natural that the demons weakened, and the knights and adventurers on the front lines found it easier to kill them than before.
It was a turnaround.
“The magic is gone.”
Peremus said, repeatedly clenching and unclenching his fists.
“Who would have thought a single hero would change the situation this much?”
Thanks to the enhanced performance of the Absolute Domain skill from breaking his limits, he no longer needed to be grounded.
“Don’t think you can recover like before.”
Iris lightly kicked off the ground and approached Peremus. He didn’t even respond to her approaching presence.
As the All-Cutting Sword swung, he instinctively ducked, barely avoiding its edge, though the tip still grazed his neck, causing blue blood to gush out.
“You have to keep dodging. Otherwise, you’ll die.”
“Don’t get cocky…! ‘Destruction—’”
Swish! Swish!
Iris’s thick arms soared into the air as blue blood sprayed everywhere.
“This is my domain now. You should have thought that casting such a big technique would backfire on you.”
The red All-Cutting Sword flicked its blue blood away.
“Gah!”
“The reason I told you to dodge was because I wanted to enjoy the little amusement of toying with you.”
Iris thrust her sword towards his torso. Peremus urgently kicked off the ground, trying to create space between them.
“You damn hero!! Soro! Ter! Combine your powers!”
It was only when Peremus was cornered that he dropped his pride. The desire to survive exceeded his need for dignity.
But what Peremus didn’t know was that calling them would be a bad move.
“Soro? Ter? Why are you calling the guys who lost to me and Tina…?”
Iris’s gaze turned towards the direction Peremus was looking. Upon discovering the S-Class Siblings, now demons, standing there with sulky expressions, she quietly said,
“…I see. So you’re just like that trash Crown Prince!”
In her anger, Ter extended his arm, and Soro summoned an ice golem.
“‘Gravity Field’!”
“You. Even as demons, you’re still using a coordinate-based approach, huh?”
Despite being in Ter’s gravity field, Iris spoke calmly.
‘Does the gravity field not work?’
With the magic gone, Ter was purely using mana to weigh her down. Even if the strength of that power was diminished, it was still not negligible.
However, the ‘Gap’ Iris obtained by breaking her limits could not be pierced by his mana.
“You guys are such a nuisance.”
Iris dashed forward, closing the distance to Ter in an instant and aiming for his neck.
“Time to die.”
The All-Cutting Sword swung.
“‘Ice Wall’!”
Boom!
The ice wall that shot up under Iris’s feet changed the trajectory of her sword, barely missing Ter’s neck. The golem swung at Iris, but in front of the Gap, their attack was nothing but useless.
“Damn it…! I should have killed you all back then.”
Just as she was about to finish off the ice golem, the golem burst into flames. Urka used the Hellfire Technique to melt the ice golem’s body.
“Iris! Leave Soro and Ter to us! You deal with Peremus!”
“Don’t interfere! Urka!!”
Iris’s blade, which had aimed at the ice golem, switched direction toward Ter’s arm.
“‘Phantom Sword’.”
Even from a distance where it shouldn’t be able to reach, Iris’s sword strike severed Ter’s arm.
“!!”
Ter stared in disbelief at his severed arm. Seeing this, Soro tried to summon an ice legion. However,
“‘Water Prison.’”
Glair wrapped chains made of water around Ter and Soro’s bodies.
“‘Flame Impalement!’”
Taking advantage of the moment, Urka approached Soro and plunged her sword into his heart.
“Gah!”
“Wha—”
Swish!
Before Soro could react, Iris descended to the ground and beheaded Ter.
As his sight spun around, Ter thought,
‘Was it destined to end up like this?’
He realized just before dying.
No matter how superior they became as demons, they could never win against Praus’s Disciple.
Ter’s head rolled on the ground, and Soro, upon seeing Ter’s head, vomited blood. Soon, he collapsed limply and closed his eyes.
Inside the Absolute Domain without magic, he couldn’t recover from his fatal injuries.
“Good job! Soro, Ter!”
In the meantime, Peremus, who had replaced the mana floating in the air with magic for healing, threw a powerful punch with all his might.
“‘Destruction—Rotating Shot’!!”
Iris assessed the distance between her and Peremus, concluding that defense was impossible. Instead, she aimed to protect Glair and Urka, who were near her.
That’s when it happened.
“‘Dynamic Action.’”
Praus blocked Peremus’s ultimate attack with the Gluttonous Crystal Sword.
Originally, he planned to merely watch.
However, seeing the wide-ranging attack from Peremus landing, he thought that not just Glair and Urka, but most of those defending could die from his assault.
Therefore, he concluded that if he could reduce even a little human loss, he should step in.
“Is it you again, Praus…!”
“Iris!”
Praus stepped back, and Iris moved forward.
“Let’s end this.”
“Uaaah!!”
Peremus swung his fists wildly. In response, Iris infused her two swords with mana.
“‘Phantom Wave Slash.’”
Phantom Wave Slash.
Usually, this would draw a trajectory in the air before launching a blade of energy, but now it was different.
The trajectory drew above Peremus’s sturdy body.
Blue blood splattered as the sound of flesh being sliced faded away, only to be followed by the next piece of flesh being cut.
“Graaaah!!”
“Die!”
As her sword energy flared, Peremus’s body was divided into dozens of pieces, the chilling chunks falling onto the ground.
“T-This can’t be…”
“Stop dying already.”
The Guardian of the Sanctuary pierced Peremus’s brow, causing his eyes to roll back.
And thus, Peremus met his end.
“Hah. Hah.”
Iris caught her breath while looking down at the dead Peremus, then clenched her fist and raised it high.
“Good job!”
Her voice mixed with exhilaration was an announcement of Peremus’s death to the demons.
The regiment that had acted in an organized manner couldn’t hide their confusion as their ranks fell apart.
Eventually, the demons began to flee one by one, turning into a disorganized mob being mercilessly hunted by the knights and adventurers.
During this chaos, Iris dashed toward Praus as if she had no interest in the other demons, naturally throwing herself into his embrace.
“Teacher!!”
Praus calmly patted Iris’s head. She looked up at her teacher and grinned widely.
“I took care of him in under five minutes! Hee!”
“I see. You did well.”
Relieved to be alive, Praus felt like his legs could give way at any moment.
“Truly, you are the teacher! You were amazing until the very end! I felt a thrill watching you block that powerful blow!”
“…Your flattery seems to be increasing day by day?”
“It’s not flattery! I’m a Beastman who can’t do such things!”
Praus nodded along with Iris’s shouting.
Meanwhile, Eriel, watching from afar, quietly caressed her broken sword.
“Pasma, are you watching? Your revenge has been fulfilled by Iris. The hero who saved this world… has finally made our dream come true…”

Around the time the first victory rose with the collapse of the 1st Legion in the Empire.
Inkuro, who was in the Aioum Kingdom, scratched his head awkwardly.
“Wow… I don’t know if I can handle this.”
“Are you trying to stop me? If so, I’ll have to kill you.”
Inkuro sighed, looking flustered.
At the end of his gaze stood a blonde woman, Stella, with a cold expression on her face.
