Welcome to Summoner’s Rift!
The real second set has begun.

[“Where to?”]
“Just defend.”
The early invade setup wasn’t too bad for us either, but the enemy still seemed to have the upper hand.
We started off with Ezreal and Pyke leading the charge, followed by Gragas’s area damage and the sustained DPS from Lee Sin and Yasuon.
Even though we had Aatrox, his Q damage at level one is surprisingly weak.
Plus, champions like Orianna and Jinx also showed their weaknesses early on, so there didn’t seem to be a need to create any variables right off the bat.
‘By the way, Gragas…’
Gragas is one of those picks that get labeled as “uninterrupted” on the top lane. His laning performance is top-notch, but opinions often point to him being lackluster in the late game.
He’s tricky to handle, but with Yasuon on the opposing team, there’s a good chance Gragas will hold his ground even into the late game.
‘Am I really pushing it to the top side again?’
In the bot lane, the enemy had great gank responses and escape potential, while our side had good gank responses but not much in the way of evasion.
Of course, Leona has some counters against Pyke, so the laning phase itself shouldn’t be too tough, but if the enemy jungle applies pressure in the bot, our bot lane will have to play it safe.
‘Let’s bait a fight on the top side.’
The conclusion was reached.
“Yeon-woo, you can really trade heavy on the top lane this game. Make it feel like Lee Sin is coming.”
[“Sure.”]
Having designed the early game, I also requested a leash to take the early Blade Bird right at the start.
“Top, can I get a leash?”
[“Yeah.”]
It was a bit tough for Pipo to start level one against the Blade Bird alone.
Besides, Aatrox is one of those top laners with a natural knack for leashing the Blade Bird.
[❕] [❕] [❕]
While we were strategizing for the early game on top, the enemy made a late invade towards blue.
[“I’ll just use Flash.”]
Our Leona’s Flash went down.
Once we committed to defending the early invade, it was unavoidable.
‘Now, the jungle paths need to split.’
Our vision over our blue vanished. Given that it was a late invade, it was quite likely the enemy Lee Sin would try to take my blue.
‘The problem lies in what happens after.’
Did he just take the blue buff and head back to his jungle? Or would he gobble up all my blue side camps and split the map?
Unfortunately, the choice was in the enemy’s hands.
Of course, it wasn’t impossible for me to influence that choice.
The Blade Bird appeared, and the laning phase officially commenced.
“Okay. Back off immediately.”
[“Got it.”]
Aatrox prepped his first hit and quickly used his second and third hits on the Blade Bird before returning to lane.
If he got there late, he could miss out on CS and experience, so top laners don’t hate leashing the Blade Bird for no reason.
‘But it’s not all downsides.’
After the Blade Bird, I swept through red, then golems, keeping an eye on the top lane.
In a naturally pulled lane towards us, Aatrox was carefully last-hitting his CS.
If the enemy had more minions and forced a trade, he wouldn’t escape unscathed.
That was one of the benefits of a top laner leashing.
The lane gets pulled towards you so naturally.
Sure, there might be a bit of CS loss in the process, but since Seo Yeon-woo trusted me, it didn’t matter.
“I’ll head over now.”
[“Sure. I’ll try to manage the wave.”]
If too many minions stacked up on the turret, even if I succeeded in a gank, the gains wouldn’t be that significant, and if it failed, it would lead to a big loss.
Naturally, a successful gank needs appropriate lane conditions to support it.
‘Okay, let’s see what happens.’
If the enemy jungle threw a quiz my way, I’d just need to shove the answer sheet right in their face.
Despite Gragas trying to play cautiously in the pushed lane, I circled around wide and ambushed him from behind, cutting off his escape routes.
Our faces met.
We were practically breathing on each other.
Gragas, perhaps conscious of Pipo’s W, couldn’t find the angle to escape with his E.
In the end, perhaps due to feeling cornered, Gragas triggered his Flash just as he aimed for an E.
‘I knew it would happen.’
I also immediately flashed right next to Gragas and used my W.
With that, Gragas flailed helplessly in the air.
His E skill was interrupted by Pipo’s W.
That delay bought Aatrox enough time to clean up the lane and join in, while Gragas was left waiting for Aatrox’s Q and W with both E and Flash spent.
Still, Gragas managed to endure through his unique durability and escape to right in front of the turret, but that was as far as he got.
-First Blood!
-Enemy eliminated!
The victory cry rang out.
[“Nice!”]
[“Good job!”]
“You did well, Yeon-woo.”
[“No, you did amazingly, sister.”]
After scoring that one success, we naturally pushed the top lane.
“Yeon-woo, instead of timing your recall, can you help the jungle out? We need to invade the enemy blue and split it.”
[“Ah, yes.”]
Even if we brought Aatrox along, the enemy Lee Sin wouldn’t be able to blatantly endure if he was in the blue jungle.
So we went into the blue jungle, but there was no trace of Lee Sin.
“Nobody here. Let’s just back and teleport back.”
[“Got it.”]
After Seo Yeon-woo recalled, I was munching on the enemy blue jungle.
Currently, the bot lane was in a spot almost exactly split in half.
If Lee Sin decided to come for a gank, we’d be in position to potentially dodge spells.
However, instead of that obvious gank route, Lee Sin chose a different path.
“Bot! Behind!”
Lee Sin’s route came from the enemy jungle, crossing through towards the bot turret on a ward.
Sure, they’d have to take some hits from the turret, but with how well Lee Sin managed his health, he could hold on just fine.
At the same time, Pyke blindsided Leona.
Leona couldn’t escape since she lost her Flash during the early invade.
[“I’m dead. Just back off.”]
[“Let’s just fight. It looks doable.”]
[“I said to back off.”]
At that moment, Kim Ji-hoon commanded as if he was emphasizing it.
[“Jaemin, just go for it.”]
Baek Seong-an, who would usually never encourage such things, said it for some reason.
[“Roger that.”]
Kim Ji-hoon seemed to want to say something but ultimately nodded and focused back on the game.
[“Let’s get Pyke first.”]
[“Okay!”]
Jaem-min’s Jinx started unleashing chaos.

『”Is Lee Sin’s position really that strange? You don’t think he’s planning to go through there, do you?”』
『”Oh! He’s going over! I’ve seen this done often with champions like Rek’Sai, but Lee Sin’s taking this route for a gank?!”』
『”The FFF players are furious right now! Just moments ago, the top lane burned their Flash and died!”』
『”Yes! They must be feeling the urgency to secure results from the bot!”』
『”Wait, OLZ’s bot is not seriously thinking of charging in head-on, right? With Lee Sin coming from behind?!”』
Just as the commentators said.
OLZ’s bold head-on assault strategy had the audience cheering.
-Oh
-Madness
-They’re going in?
-What is this mentality lol
-Lee Sin’s got tough moves, but OLZ’s bot is just as spicy lol
Despite Lee Sin closing in from behind, OLZ’s bot calmly dodged Ezreal’s skill shots and continued the fight.
Ezreal, unable to hold back, dove into a trade using his ultimate, but that was like opening the gates to hell.
-Enemy eliminated!
-Our team was defeated!
-Enemy eliminated!
-Double kill!
2:2 exchange victory.
Of course, with Lee Sin making his way over, Jinx’s fate was pretty much sealed.
-Our team was defeated!
Still, this was a remarkable achievement.
In a situation where Lee Sin attempted a desperate gank, they managed to achieve a 2:2 exchange.
There’s one truth that applies to nearly every situation in the Legends of League pro scene.
Whatever the player says or whichever player it is, if they just perform well, everything will fall into place.
Of course, if the player’s skills drop later on or they show poor performance, it will come back double, but for now, that’s how it is.
And right now, that was absolutely the case.
Fiery banter.
Fiery decision-making.
Fiery gameplay.
Everything just clicked.
-Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut! Bug cut!
-What’s wrong with calling a bug a bug?
-For real lol
-Kim Jaemin, is he a god? Kim Jaemin, is he a god? Kim Jaemin, is he a god? Kim Jaemin, is he a god?
-Lolololololol
-This is hilarious as hell lol
-Did it really turn out like this?
The opinions of the young ones, which were heading south, skyrocketed.
