OLZ’s regular season victory.
Actually, this fact was confirmed quite a while ago, but the meaning became particularly special because of the subsequent trophy presentation ceremony.
Originally, there wouldn’t be a trophy presentation in the second division league CKR, as there isn’t a separate final match, but it was hastily organized this season.
Many fans speculated that it was quickly arranged due to OLZ’s popularity, but no official response has been released yet.
Naturally, conversations about this topic were heating up in the community.
– OLZ champion! OLZ champion! OLZ champion! OLZ champion! OLZ champion! OLZ champion! OLZ champion! OLZ champion! OLZ champion! OLZ champion! OLZ champion! OLZ champion!
– Why is the gallery host doing interviews so well? It’s getting boring.
– Lately, it seems Jaem-min is the best at interviews, haha.
– For real, lol.

Wow, what’s this?
– Wow…
– Crazy.
– Outlaw! Outlaw! Outlaw! Outlaw! Outlaw! Outlaw! Outlaw! Outlaw! Outlaw!
– What’s with the missing pants? OMG!
– They say he wore pants inside, but honestly, I don’t really believe it, lol.
– For real, lol.
– Unnie, I’m dying…
– Aah.
– What the hell? What the hell?
+
– Info) Outlaw received a verbal warning for violating the dress code, lol.
– Really?
– What the heck, haha!
– That’s so funny.

Yo, OLZ actually got a verbal warning, haha!
────────
────────
“Summoners,
On August 27th (Saturday), during the Legends of League Challengers Korea Summer Week 12 match of Outlaw Zone vs. BLH, player ‘Outlaw’ Yujin was found to be dressed in attire that violated league regulations.
As a result, the Outlaw Zone team has been penalized with a ‘warning’ equivalent to one notice.
If ‘warnings’ accumulate to two, a ‘warning’ will be issued, and one point will be deducted in set wins.
Subject of punishment:
– Outlaw Zone
Details of punishment:
– One warning
Related regulation:
– Violation of dress code
Acts such as the above during the match are considered violations and may result in penalties at the discretion of the event staff.”
Why is this real?
────────
– Why is this real?
– Crazy, haha!
– Was it actually real?
– No way, haha!
– Let’s take a moment for the gallery host who sacrificed for the legendary meme…
– Don’t kill them.

Whenever the community was filled with discussions about OLZ, backlash similarly always arose.
At this point, it should’ve felt like a familiar routine, but the community remained the same.
– But hey, the final match for the first division league has been decided, and you’re talking about the second division, is that real?
– For real, if it’s the relegation matches, at least.
– Yeah, this is OLZ’s gallery, you guys can leave.
– Absolutely, lol.
– Why are you getting mad in someone else’s home?
– That’s right.

Poll) Seriously, if you’re not interested at all in the first division finals, hit that dislike button, haha!

Seriously, I’m not interested at all in the first division finals, and I don’t even know who advanced -> dislike
Nope. I know who’s in the LCKR finals, and of course, I will watch it -> like.
────────
– Dislike.
– They’re using cheat codes again, ugh.
– Get out with your garbage posts.
– So who made it to the finals?
– Don’t mess with me! There’s no way people interested in Reori wouldn’t know SY and MAX made it to the finals. Stop hyping up Outlaw already; you can’t even compare second division to Outlaw. Please stop trying to show off.
– You act like you’re not a typical Namgal.
– For real, lol.
– This thread is a mess.

That said, before the regular season of the second division league ended, the first division had already wrapped up its postseason.
Yet, the community had barely any posts about the first division, which naturally frustrated existing first division fans.
– Yo, seriously, who made it to the finals? I don’t know because I haven’t watched.
– It must be SY and SCV, does anyone even watch LCKR’s one-day stream?
– Info) Surprisingly, it’s not SCV, it’s MAX.
– For real? They finally made it to the finals?
– Haven’t they always been mid-tier? OMG!
– Didn’t they almost always come in around third? How is that mid-tier? That’s considered high-tier.
– For real, lol.
– Still, SY will probably win.
– I agree.
– And that same SY is about to get wrecked by OLZ next year.
– That’s true, haha.
The community, as always, was ablaze.

The de facto finals.
The regular season of the Legends of League Challengers Korea Summer season had ended.
Among the teams participating in the postseason, those looking to grab the one remaining relegation seed were busier than ever, while those who didn’t qualify prepared for a long vacation until next year’s Spring season.
Of course, there were no small tournaments in between, but they were all events that couldn’t really be considered significant.
Moreover,
the same situation applied to the first division LCKR.
The only difference was that LCKR had completed the postseason long ago, leaving only the finals and relegation matches to go.
The finals match was MAX vs. SY.
It was a battle between MAX, who secured first place in the regular season by the smallest of margins after intense back-and-forth, and SY, who fought their way through the playoffs.
Naturally, before we focused on final matches far off, we still had to pay close attention to the teams participating in relegation and the CKR postseason.
Despite the regular season ending, we gathered in the practice room as usual.
There remained a crucial challenge just around the corner.
“The teams participating in relegation from the first division are GBP (Goodbye Princess) and SS Class. You all know that, right?”
“Aren’t they the bad players?”
Kim Jae-min sighed at Kim Jae-min’s comment.
“Don’t say that again like in your last interview. You’ll really get in trouble.”
“Hey, I’m just a kid, aren’t I?”
“Ji-hoon.”
“I’ll be careful with my words.”
Having finally called Kim Ji-hoon to keep Kim Jae-min quiet, the conversation continued.
“I don’t know which team will come up from the second division, but… I think it’ll be either BLH or FFF.”
“I think it will be too.”
I agreed.
To be honest, among CKR teams, except for BLH or FFF, the rest hadn’t been performing well.
“Those two teams aren’t really something to be wary of. The problem is, we haven’t matched up against the other two teams much: GBP and SS Class.”
Goodbye Princess and SS Class.
They were teams we had scrimmed against before, and while our scrim record was heavily in our favor, it would be wise to dismiss the notion that they would perform like they did before in a relegation match.
Of course, strictly speaking, the relegation matches are generally more favorable for the existing first division teams.
The atmosphere of the teams heading to relegation in LCKR cannot help but feel different from those in the second division CKR.
Naturally, the ones under more pressure would be the first division teams that need to hold their ground.
There was also a difference in momentum.
While second division teams climb to their position with a string of victories, the first division teams fell to their place through a series of losses.
So it was that, strictly speaking, while the first division might have more advantages in relegation, instances of second division teams winning are surprisingly common.
Of course, it’s not uncommon for those teams that rose from the second division to fall back down the following season, but that’s a subject we weren’t ready to consider yet.
What mattered was the challenge right in front of us.
“Have the scrims been set up?”
“We’ve got quite a few lined up. Seems a lot of teams want to scrim us. Both for the upcoming finals and the qualifiers.”
“Ah, I see.”
The World Championship qualifiers.
Commonly referred to as the Red Cup qualifiers.
Timing-wise, the Red Cup qualifiers kick off just four days after the finals, so participating teams can’t help but keep a close watch on the results of the finals.
“That works well for us.”
Usually, teams participating in the Red Cup qualifiers don’t reach down to scrimming with second division teams, but our team was an exception.
That’s how solidly we had established ourselves in the domestic pro scene.
“So, who are we scrimming today?”
“YSG.”
“Ah….”
YSG (Y So Games).
Since it was the first team I joined as a trainee, it held a special place for me.
Of course, while we had scrimmed against YSG since forming OLZ, the number of those scrims had been comparatively low, possibly due to Baek Seong-an being considerate.
“YSG has been performing quite well lately. It probably won’t be easy.”
“It’s fine.”
I remember.
The players from YSG are definitely not ordinary.
During my time scrimming with YSG, we had nearly gone undefeated against first division teams.
In a way, securing a seed in the Red Cup qualifiers made total sense for YSG.
“Then, let’s go.”
“Yeah.”
It was time to face my old team.
