“Wow…”
“…What is this?”
“Is this for real?”
“Come on, no way.”
“Well, there’s something visible though.”
Who is the most popular player in OLZ?
If someone asked that, everyone would undoubtedly point to me.
…It might seem a bit arrogant, but that’s just the truth.
Anyway, that doesn’t mean the other team members are unpopular.
No, compared to other teams, our team members were pretty popular too.
But, but…
‘Isn’t this a bit much?’
The results of the All-Star popularity vote were shockingly overwhelming.
──────────────
[Supporter]
1st – OLZ Protein (Kim Ji-hoon) 22.4%
2nd – SY GuineaPig (Yoo Sang-hyun) 21.1%
3rd – SCV WhiteCat (Koo Sang-jun) 19.5%
──────────────
First of all, in the Supporter category, Kim Ji-hoon won by a narrow margin.
Of course, this result could change before the voting ended, so it might not hold much significance, but still, Kim Ji-hoon took first place.
“Wow, Ji-hoon hyung actually got first.”
“Right?”
“But doesn’t it feel like we can’t relax?”
“Do you think Ji-hoon would want to go?”
“Well, I have a feeling he’d want to.”
“Why’s that?”
“That famous sports place in the U.S.? I think he’d want to check it out.”
“…Sounds plausible.”
I was a bit surprised that Kim Jae-min’s mind went that far.
‘By the way…’
What was really shocking was in the Top category.
──────────────
[Top]
1st – OLZ Honor (Seo Yeon-woo) 56.9%
2nd – BAN EZ (Park In-gi) 21.2%
3rd – SY TheOne (Choi Won) 12.5%
──────────────
I expected Seo Yeon-woo to have some popularity.
But unlike the close contest for Kim Ji-hoon, Seo Yeon-woo achieved first place by such an overwhelming margin it was almost a certainty.
“Little sister’s on fire!”
“Huh?”
“Not my sister, I mean Yeon-woo.”
“Oh.”
It felt weird that the term “sister” was becoming a bit familiar.
“By the way, didn’t All-Stars typically allow only a few representatives from each team? Why does it seem like all our team members are showing up?”
“Oh, they changed the rules this year.”
“Really?”
I found it sudden and curious, but I didn’t bother thinking too much about it.
Honestly, going alone felt a bit daunting, but if the team members went along, it would definitely lighten the load.
‘Anyway… will my parents allow it?’
Surprisingly, I realized I had grown up with quite a bit of overprotection at home.
Even though it’s loosened recently, strictly speaking, while I’m in the dormitory, I still have guards and secretaries, and my life is secured by all sorts of safety protocols including CCTV.
In other words, I was still protected by my parents.
But abroad was different.
No matter how many bodyguards I had, I’d be in a foreign land where anything could happen.
Naturally, I couldn’t be sure if my parents would allow it.
‘Still, I want to go.’
The All-Star event.
It might not be the dream stage that every professional gamer longs for like the Red Cup, but it’s definitely a festival I want to experience at least once.
While I was lost in thought, Kim Jae-min jumped in.
“Ah, we can’t just sit here.”
“Huh?”
“We need to tell little sister and Ji-hoon hyung this wonderful news!”
“Oh. But where are they now?”
“Well, Ji-hoon hyung is obvious, but where did Yeon-woo say she was going?”
“What’s that about?”
“If we look around, we’ll probably find her.”
Kim Jae-min seemed totally unconcerned about where Seo Yeon-woo was, and quickly disappeared.
I stared blankly at his retreating figure and shook my head.
“…Let’s just play Solo Queue.”
I queued up, but maybe because of the timing, it took over ten minutes without a match popping up.
“Ugh…”
I stretched and glanced around.
‘Hmm, no one’s here.’
Confirming that, I casually logged into the Legends of League community.
I hadn’t checked it out in a while, and I was curious about the discussions surrounding this All-Star vote.
The first thing that greeted me in the community was the usual outburst.

“…”
I had just skimmed a tiny fraction, but reading those posts made my head spin.
However, the abyss always had a strange charm the deeper you looked into it, so I continued to scroll.
If there was any silver lining, there were some posts about my team members mixed in there too.

– Is this All-Stars or OLZ team league?
– Aren’t three people going from OLZ? lol
– Suddenly they changed the rules this year? Guess I’m feeling a divine revelation.

While I was engrossed in the community, someone suddenly spoke up.
“What are you looking at so intently?”
“Yikes!”
Just as a voice interrupted, I almost fell backward.
“What’s with that surprise?”
“Wow, you’re here?”
The voice belonged to none other than Baek Seong-an.
I hadn’t seen him around the dorm, and there he was with a cup of coffee in hand.
He must have just returned from a nearby cafe.
“Ah, talking about All-Stars?”
“……Yeah, yeah.”
To be honest, I didn’t want Baek Seong-an to find out I was browsing the community, but now that I had been caught, there was no excuse left.
“Speaking of which, you, Yeon-woo, and Ji-hoon are all in first place. Well, I guess Ji-hoon is an exception, but you and Yeon-woo seem pretty set.”
“True…”
“Ah, I wanted to go too. To the U.S.”
“Really?”
Suddenly, a thought crossed my mind.
“Do you want to go? All together?”
“Huh? Is that allowed?”
“Yes.”
“Of course, the flight and hotel costs will all be covered by the team, right?”
“Well… yeah, I suppose.”
For a moment, I flinched as the jungler and team owner responsible for financing, but since we were going, it wouldn’t be bad for the team members to come along too.
Although Baek Seong-an and Kim Jae-min might not directly participate in the All-Stars, joining the festival would definitely be possible.
“Then that’s awesome for me.”
“I’ll ask the other team members too.”
“Well, what other team members are there besides Jaem-min? Yeon-woo and Ji-hoon seem like a lock to go.”
“Still, it’s possible it won’t happen.”
“By the way, where did they go?”
“Jae-min said he’d go fetch them…”
Speaking of the devil, the door to the dorm swung open violently, and Kim Jae-min, Seo Yeon-woo, and Kim Ji-hoon appeared.
“Sister, sister!”
“Oh, good timing! I had something to say.”
“Take us to the U.S!”
Kim Jae-min blurted out without hesitation.
“Huh?”
“I talked it over with Yeon-woo and Ji-hoon hyung, and we’re all going to America together!”
“Oh… okay.”
Was it good timing or what…
Jae-min barged in right as he cried about wanting to go to America.
“Telepathy, huh?”
Baek Seong-an remarked.
I nodded in agreement.
“Well then…”
The destination was decided.
“Let’s go to America.”
