After the event battle that took place over the weekend, I logged into Deron.
In my mailbox was a large pair of angel wings, a reward for participating in the event.
I took a look at the angel wings that had entered my inventory.
Upon closer inspection, these angel wings were slightly different in color from the ones I had received previously.
While their size and shape were the same, the white of the newly received wings had a brighter feel to it.
“Oh…”
Players in Deron who had dabbled in fashion were very sensitive to the colors of their gear.
That was because Deron didn’t have a dyeing feature for costumes and equipment.
As a result, beautifully colored gear often traded at high prices.
“This is…”
The white color was brighter than the existing wings.
This was it.
Real White.
There were equipment with white colors in Deron.
However, when equipped altogether, a subtle color matching issue would occur since all the RGB values were slightly different.
I decided to try on the large angel wings, and a radiant pair spread wide behind me.
“Is it the same costume?”
“Oh, Helena.”
When I turned around with the wings on, Helena was standing there.
Draped in a red robe, she showed interest in the angel wings that were unfurled behind me.
“No, it’s not the same.”
“Not the same?”
“Look closely.”
I put on the original angel wings and then the newly acquired ones alternately to make it easy for Helena to understand.
Flap, flap.
“How’s that? How’s that?”
At this point, she should be able to notice right away, right?
I flapped the wings behind me and looked up at Helena.
“The color…”
“Right. The color is different from the original. It’s a real white in a brighter tone.”
“Re, real white?”
Helena replied, looking somewhat puzzled.
I nodded with my arms crossed.
Real white. That was a term that would be lost on those who didn’t care much about their character’s appearance.
I understood Helena’s reaction.
“So, the newly received wings are better?”
“Of course. They’re whiter.”
“I see…”
That ended the conversation.
I stuffed the two angel wings into the corner of my inventory.
Helena seemed to have more to say, hovering around me, but I had something more urgent to do.
I needed to check the details on the newly adjusted raid boss.
I immediately logged onto Deron’s homepage to look at the announcements.
The announcement stated they had fixed the duplication bug and had reclaimed the currency that had been released during the period.
The modified boss monster had been completely redesigned and returned in a new form.
As I was going through the announcements, I stumbled upon something amusing.
It was a list of users who had exploited the duplication bug.

Over a hundred names were on the suspension list at a glance.
The suspension period was 3,000 days, which was effectively a permanent ban.
“Helena, did you see the announcement? So many people got suspended?”
“Yeah, I heard that most of the top raid parties disbanded because of it.”
“Oh…”
Did that mean there was an opportunity for us?
I rubbed my chin, recalling the levels and gear status of my guild members.
Since the problem occurred just before the raid started, there weren’t any specs that would be an issue.
“Then we should set off right away.”
“Where to?”
“Where else but the raid.”
Helena seemed at a loss for words at my answer.
Why was she acting like this again?
If she wasn’t happy about something, she should just tell me outright.
Whenever she showed this kind of behavior, it frustrated me.
After hesitating for a while, Helena finally seemed to make a decision and spoke up.
“Yeo-na.”
“Yeah?”
“You didn’t forget, did you?”
“Forget what?”
“We said we would go out together after the event battle…”
I tilted my head at Helena’s words.
Had I ever made such a promise?
Looking at Helena’s reaction, it seemed she really believed it.
“Yeah. I didn’t forget.”
It was a promise with a friend. If I said I forgot, Helena would be disappointed.
I couldn’t let down my closest friend.
I nodded, pretending to recall a fuzzy memory.
“You remember it’s the weekend, right?”
“Ah, yeah… the weekend… right. I think so.”
I slowly nodded at Helena’s answer.
When exactly had we planned to go out?
I planned to spend this weekend burned up in raid tries…
“Are you going to gather the party members?”
“Ah, yeah. Can you help me?”
Helena nodded at my question.
The issue with the raid had been settled. The party leader was back.
Now, all that remained was gathering the party members.
As it happened, it was late evening, so all the party members were online.
Helena and I issued a summon command to all party members.
The assembly point was, of course, the entrance to the raid dungeon.
The very spot where we had stopped just before departure.
“Come out!!!”
I shouted with both arms wide open.
I couldn’t very well run across the distance.
A large magical formation appeared, and out came a giant, fluffy battle wolf Urrang.
“Urrang.”
As I mounted Urrang, Helena also summoned her Hellfire Horse and saddled up.
“Let’s go!”
Tap tap tap—
I dashed off with Helena towards our meeting place.
At the entrance of [Fallen Moonlight], our promised location.
In front of it were not just our party members, but other users were bustling around as well.
I couldn’t have imagined this scene before the server merge.
“There are a lot of people…”
“It’s been a long time. Everyone’s leveling up to try the raid.”
I nodded at Helena’s words and headed toward the spot where the party members were gathered.
The party members who had set up in a relatively wide open area noticed me approaching and quickly stood up, waving.
“Party Leader!”
“You’re here!”
The party members reacted enthusiastically.
It felt like family welcoming a soldier back home.
I liked that reaction. I circled around the party members on Urrang, nodding along the way.
“Congratulations on second place!”
“Congratulations!”
I guess they really did watch the event battle?
The party members began to applaud for me.
My shoulders lifted, and the corners of my mouth shot up.
While I was a bit disappointed at the title of second place, what could I do?
The team members’ skills hadn’t kept pace with mine.
“Ahem…”
That was enough compliments for now.
I surveyed the party members with a serious expression.
The cheer gradually subsided.
“Everyone ready?”
A full attendance of 40, including Helena and me.
We checked the potions and doping items we would use during the raid.
We ensured there were no issues with the party members’ job trees.
All preparations were flawless.
“Let’s enter!”
I shouted to the party members and jumped into the dungeon.
“Stripes!”
As soon as I jumped into the dungeon entrance, a voice rang out from behind.
The owner of the voice was none other than the Snow Mage.
There was no one else who shouted what color my underwear was every time I entered a dungeon.
I stood inside the dungeon, crossing my arms and watching the party members enter.
Some jumped in just like I did, while others walked in calmly.
I let out a small sigh at the sight.
The ones walking in calmly weren’t existing party members.
They were the newly recruited ones.
The previous members had folded, leaving no choice but to receive the newcomers.
This was a sort of test.
A test to see if the new members could mix well with the existing ones.
From my experience, those who jumped in with smiles usually blended in well with the older members without a hitch.
As for those who didn’t jump? There were three.
I marked them with a sign only the party leader could see.
[Fallen Moonlight]
As the name suggests, it was a dungeon where the Fallen Goddess of the Moon, Lunaris, appeared as the raid boss.
The scene of pale moonlight streaming through half-collapsed temples was quite impressive.
I pointed my sword toward it and said, “Tanks, clear the way.”
Our main tank for the raid was Dogrik.
He was a very kind tank who never had an eye for damage gear.
His skills were average, but he was my favorite tank user.
Dogrik stepped forward holding a massive shield and a shining one-handed sword.
His enormous full plate mail made him look like a giant fortress.
The progression of the [Fallen Moonlight] dungeon resembled the previously released raid, [Fallen Sanctuary].
The paladins and healers morphed into vampire clan members poured out from the back of the ruined temple.
They attempted to absorb health with their unique vampiric abilities, dishing out their corrupted holy power in return.
Clearing the path came together without any major issues.
After about 10 minutes of following the wrecked temple inside, we finally arrived at the first named monster.
[Shadow of Moonlight Approaching]
The named monster sitting alone in the wide open space had a very strange shape.
A murky blackness, like a cluster of black shadows, continued to ripple.
The Shadow of Moonlight Approaching.
This was the named monster that had caused the duplication bug to occur.
Now presenting itself so brazenly, it seemed there was no longer any problem.
“Shall we enter?”
At Dogrik’s question, I looked around at the other party members.
Everyone was using doping items and putting on buffs in preparation for the upcoming battle.
I nodded and replied, “Let’s enter!”
With my order, we stepped into the named monster’s zone, led by Dogrik.
In that instant, the shadow that had been sitting spread wide, enveloping the entire party.
I didn’t panic; it was just part of the pattern.
The Shadow of Moonlight Approaching had a pattern that chose one random enemy nearby to transform into at the start of battle.
After the black shadow swept over the party members,
A familiar user’s figure appeared in the center of the named room.
“What the…”
“It’s the Party Leader!”
“Wow…”
I gaped in astonishment, hearing the party members’ exclamations.
The chosen user by the Shadow of Moonlight Approaching was me.
[Shadow of Yeo Approaching]
The overall appearance was the same as mine, but the colors were different.
My snow-white skin shone as if covered in pale moonlight, and my eyes sparkled with a red glow.
